US: Prisoners Have No Choice But to Drink Arsenic-Laced Water

But within weeks of opening, a major problem was discovered: its water was poisoned - containing roughly twice the federally permitted level of arsenic, a known carcinogen.

I read the full story. This is absolutely rediculous. Something has to be done!! Inmates in Kern County State Prison WILL GET CANCER if something isn't done soon!!!

Is this a problem that is still going on? I see most of the comments are so old. Not very much updated ones how can they continue to let our loved one drink that water!!!

Come on water! I think the ones who run the prison need to be lock up...... God is going to get them you need clear Water to pray I will be fasting and praying on this, my son is there.
