From the article

"There are real problems to be addressed, high unemployment, a lagging “recovery”, a fiscal crisis that will occur on January 1st unless Congress acts to extend tax cuts and puts off a massive sequestration of funding to defense and other sectors. In the end, it is likely we will be told that the last four years were all George W. Bush’s fault."

Of course it's Bush's fault, this administration cannot take responsibility for their actions.

Yes. And the biggest 'real problem' is AGW induced climate change. It may not be the most immediate problem but addressing it can go a LONG way to addressing low unemployment and lack of stimulus. You cannot just raid the treasury for more debt. You have to actually stimulate spending and that can best be done by tacking the OTHER problems, such as AGW.

Of course, you also see that by claiming that there are 'real problems' the article tries to pretend that AGW isn't 'real'. Typical denial.

OMG, now Mr Undoubtably Spelt Fourty has decided that fighting AGW can save economies.

He'll be suggesting that building an urbanisation on the Moon next year could be profitable.
