If Frank would have testified against Theresa he would have gotten off. At least he admitted he was wrong and should have forward sooner. But why throw her under the bus when she also was just a pawn. No one ever said this was their greatest achievement or finest hour but seriously people who profited from this?? Theresa received 4 years of pad leave and benefits, Frank just got the boot. No pay, no bennies. I could name at least 6 businesses that lie on federal docs to just keep their business a float. Stranczeks fine and just playing the residents. Who's to say that Frank's kidney failure isn't due to the water?? Maybe he should sue too? No one was up in arms when the mayo was sandblasting the water tower next to the childrens park. Tricia Krause should have been there but was to busy filing ll these law suits against every place she lived. Obviously the peope of Crestwood didn't think to well they still elected a mayor who has been a trustee for 30 years and knew damn well what was going on as did the other trustees. The Feds don't care all they want is a conviction. They got it but the real criminals are still running things. This village is in for a rude awakening and the residents will pay for Chet & Frank Gasmere's underhanded deals.

I lived in Crestwood 20 years ago (on Crestwood Dr) and went to high school with some of these people. Funny to see their names in the news.

Didn't Presta say that these 2 would be found innocent and we wouldn't have to pay these law suits? Funny how he lied and all you idiots fell for it.

Does anyone know what the village is doing about all those lawsuits? As a taxpayer I'm concerned about this and the whole mess seems to be handled in a very secretive way.

Hey Mikey Mikey Mikey what day is it? It's Monday. Guess what if your so concerned go to the committee meeting tomorrow night or to the board meeting on the 1st or 3rd Thursday and ask the trustees anf mayor for yourself. Get them on record and hold them accountable. You will not get the correct answers here. There is a complete new board stop with your BS.

Go back and re read the post. There is a complete new board. Lou is Mayor and not a board member. The board members control the village not the mayor. That is what got you guys in trouble in the first place not knowing how local goverment is suppose to work.Ask the board members your questions.
