Under Paul Ryan's plan, Fisker could have drawn entire $529M federal loan
Republican Vice Presidential pick Paul Ryan has been critical on the campaign trail of the Obama administration's spending policies, recently criticizing Department of Energy loans to the likes of failed solar panel maker Solyndra and Fisker Automotive, which has stalled plans to build cars in Delaware.

Fisker, like many other companies, saw the opportunity to build a business with U.S. taxpayer funding and exploited it. Unfortunately it will not lead to many jobs, (probably ~ $10 million per permanent job created) which makes it another poor investment by our elected officials.
