The DLA is currently in the second phase of evaluating the use of botanical DNA from Applied DNA Sciences to detect and prevent counterfeit microchips from entering the DoD supply chain. The test is being overseen by LMI and is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2012. Is there any current information available on the status of their evaluation?
