Contractors That Defrauded DOD Were Rewarded With $285 Billion in New Contracts

There are 11 comments on the www.thenation.com story from Feb 3, 2011, titled Contractors That Defrauded DOD Were Rewarded With $285 Billion in New Contracts. In it, www.thenation.com reports that:

The Pentagon Fraud Papers:

Defense contractors that were convicted of defrauding the Pentagon received new contracts from the Department of Defense in the amount of $285 billion .

Does this bother American taxpayers? Nope, not a bit, because that same money that's coming out of your paycheck to pay these rip-off contractors is the same money that eventually makes it's way back to the investors on Wall Street.

Keep moving the money to the top, folks. We've almost got the middle class whipped.

They have to keep steering money into these contractor's bank accounts. If they didn't, it would be awkward at the next family reunion or holiday get together, trying not to make eye contact

This shows me that the citizens of America are considered booty calls by those who are suppose to be protecting our interests. Is this the true face of the real America and Democracy?
