Although I don't know this young man or his family, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this young man. Thank you is not enough for your service and sacrifice.

I was at the airport yesterday and there was a young soldier whose parents sat with him until the last minute. They were obviously quite emotional when they left. The flight was then cancelled and everyone got off the plane. His parents were already gone. I wished for them they could have known that in case that was the last time they ever saw their son. I don't know who you were, but my thoughts and prayer are with you.

It certainly takes a lot of courage for the young men and their parents, may God protect all of you.

Heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to this brave soldier's family, friends and fellow soldiers. As a mother whose son has just returned (safely) from Afghanistan, I cannot begin to imagine what they must be going through.

My Heart goes out to th family of this Marine. I shudder each time I hear of the death of another MIGHTY WARRIOR. The young people join the Military in support of our Country, and they do so being unafraid. This young man gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for his Home Land, and he should be given the Thanks he so deserves.
May this young man rest in the ARMS OF GOD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, and find ETERNAL PEACE.

THANK YOU and GOD BLESS

I am so sorry to hear about another soldier losing their life. I have nothing but respect for the men and women who serve their country and every life lost is a sacrifice not taken lightly.
While no words can bring back the man they've lost, my heartfelt thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.
Rest In Peace Marine.

Damn terrorists. Another young American lost. We can train marines and soldiers in 6 months but the Afghans have had 10 years and still are in training and still can't take care of their own affairs. I think sometimes we should have let the Russians finish the war when they were there instead of us meddling and providing SAMS and other logistics and advisors to the Afghans. Be it what it is though, I am saddened at the loss and injury of every young American there. May LCpl McDaniels reside in Heaven and his family find peace. He was an American who answered the call and paid the ultimate price.

RIP Josh. My thoughts are with your wife and family. Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice. I can only imagine how your parents are taking this. They raised you to be the man you were and supported you in every way.
Please- to all of those commenting, think of this young mans sacrifice and the great loss his loved ones are dealing with. Please take care to keep comments appropriate. We have the great freedom of speech because of young men like this one who are willing to give their lives in service. It doesn't matter if you agree with what is going on. If you can't support the war, support the soldiers. As this brave, young man did, they are giving everything they have to.
God bless you Josh. God bless your family. May they find peace. Everyone reading this, please consider Veterans Day and Memorial Day. They are just two days during the year when we honor those who have served. This family and all the other families who gave a son, daughter, father, motherm husband, or wife - they remember every day. Please take time to honor the fallen, those who came home, and those still serving. They wrote a blank check when they joined the military. Josh's was cashed.
I will always think of you and your family Josh.
