What are the chiefs of staff, the congress, and the President doing about all this? It needs more media attention too. I am tired of hearing bout people being brutalized just because they want to make a living. Its disqusting.

How about those that are selling it, you don't hear them bitching about the money that their raking in. You can bet you last Tampax that if they get caught they scream sexual harassment. Remember it's a two way street. That applies to those stationed through out the mid-east.

Two seperate issues. Being raped has nothing to do with prostitution and the comment comparing the two as one is an insult to the victims. I carry around a phone number for a hotline to report sexual assault in the military. It was given to me my first day at reception before basic. I doubt the phone number would be given out if a problem wasn't prevalent. I am very new to the military so I can only go off of my own experience. Men and women are more aggressive during wartime and that is why it is even more important to never leave the comrades you trust. Battle buddies are there for a reason. If I am sexually assaulted during my time in the military, I will expect that my comrades, the ones with integrity, to stand up for me. I hope to never have to go through that and especially hope that I don't have to report it to a person with deaf ears like the guy commenting before me. I've been told that there is no tolerance for sexual assault in the military. Hope that is true, now. Hoping the proper steps are in place to eliminate the victimizing of fellow soldiers.

This is a serious problem and is basically being ignored for PR purposes. I mean, would women really join up if they thought they had to worry about their fellow soldiers? What if male soldiers were raping one another? The government would do something about it then.

But it is also ignored because it is really difficult to talk about. When is it ever appropriate to talk about rape or domestic violence? At a bar? While watching soap operas? Casually over coffee? We almost have a built-in system of stigma and shame where we feel uncomfortable for experiencing domestic abuse.

Why is it two seperate issues? You have no idea if in fact they were raped or they got caught and screamed rape to get off the hook. I spent 20 years in the military, active duty and I've seen the bimbos in action. They get no pass from me!

Great. Even your so-called "comrades" are a danger to you during wartime.

And so all "bimbos" are the same as "prostitutes." You know that prostitutes are professionals. They are sex workers. There is a difference. There are no unions for bimbos. There are unions and labor relations committees for sex workers.

Then why do more women join the military?

i belive we schould prepare the female soldiers for all circumstances at war. If some of them is taken prisoner the possibility been groupraped by the ennemy is real.
So it will be better to prepare all women soldiers on this issiue by making rape a part of basictraining. So every girl who joins the forces even as cadet has at least once taken prisoner on an exercice, stripped naked in frond of a male platoon an raped by them ion all her holes for hours. So they be prepared to serve uor boys who are comming from combat, even if a complete compagny will pas over them. Better been raped for days than once by the ennemy.

Financial necessity? Patriotism? Lack of superior options? Ignorance to the inherent dangers?

I would rather someone ended up with attention they did not need than for someone to go without it when they did need it.

What do you expect from drugged up porn monsters. These guys are mentally programmed to fight a war which they don't want to fight and also life span is short for them as they have estimated so pleasure even if it's illegal or immoral like raping the young children of Iraq or their female comrades is a particle of dust in their eye.
