Oklahome is a leeching RED state. What right do you have to say Jack. You already suck up more federal dollars than you pay in. And even with that it is obvious your schools don't teach.
Congress has the same exact benefits of every Federal Employee. Don't be jealous, move from Oklahoma and learn to support yourself. You live in a whole state that is unable to.
Republican states are the ones that are most dependent on government and needs to be cut off. Too much defense spending waste and fraud. Cut cut cut defense spending.

Yes Virginia is one of the worse state for dependency on government. Virginia is on military welfare funding and must be cuts in defense and military wasteful spending. The sequester will be a great start.
Virginia and other states that are on the defense/military wasteful welfare spending must be cut.

Thanks for the link. Seems we have got to the point where states receive welfare under the name of defense.

Yes, Virginia is a RED state and we are working hard to change that so we can become self-sufficient and a contributor like a proud BLUE state should be.

And your excuse Oklahoma?

You liberals get all in a wad because the Gov't "wastes" money in "red states" If you had anything growing between your ears, you would figure out where it is going and catch some of it.

Damn, if there is that much of it floating around wasted, it should be easy yo get.

Your post is a perfect example of Republican misunderstanding. Liberals understand that some programs are necessary because capitalism is leaving too many behind. The fact that over 100 schools in Kentucky participate in a special program that allows them to feed students 3 meals a day instead of just one or two illustrates this. It is a program for the poorest of the poor areas where over 50% of families are in poverty.

In return for the "Supper" meal, the students are required to additional studies at the school until supper time. The purpose is to increase their test scores and knowledge.

Agricultural subsidies are designed to give us stable food prices and for the most part they work. I think we should get out of the crop insurance business however and let farmers get that in the open market. We could also "target" farm subsidies to the small family farmer and stop using it to support corporate farmers who already have the advantage of scale.

We only use the RED states to point out the hypocracy of the Right. You are not against leeches, you are just afraid of losing the subsidies you enjoy and want to those that you think are sick, lame and lazy.

It's like Romney said the other night. If you have to borrow from China to run them, the programs aren't worth it.

I know and your right which I agree, Flemming vs Nestor proved that and people havent seen nothing yet.

Many people believe that Social Security is an earned right-that is, they believe they are entitled to receive Social Security benefits because they have paid Social Security taxes. However, in Flemming v. Nestor (1960), the Supreme Court ruled that workers have no legal right to Social Security: Congress can cut or eliminate Social Security benefits at any time regardless of a worker's contributions.

The only dollars we borrow from China are the one's we use to pay for our military. What do you think Romney will do when he finds that out? Flip-Flop, Flip-Flop.

Wait, I was wrong. We use it to pay for tax cuts too. Flip-Flop, Flip-Flop.

I don't have a problem if they shut it down today. No more dollars out.

I don't have a problem if they save it.

I have a problem when my children and grandchildren have to pay into something they will never have a hope of receiving if they need it.

I agree I am for it shutting Social Security down completely just for simple fact SCOTUS ruled we are not entitled to the Social Security & the SS tax money that the Federal Government confiscated from us but insist to keep the Ponzi Scheme going.

And Ken, just in case you do not support social welfare programs, there is a group of Nuns that you should sit down with and discuss the issue in terms of religion. I understand Representative Ryan had that privilege.
I thought Ryan ran from the Nuns On The Bus. They wanted to talk about his Budget which is Cruel and Immoral.
