Teacher strike in Chicago hometown may be headache for Obama

Sep 11, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Reuters

The Chicago teachers' strike is putting President Barack Obama's re-election campaign in a bind, pitting unions loyal to him against officials with ties to the White House.

I hate to be the one to break the news but from what I've seen those so-called teachers carrying signs and clogging up the streets are only one step away from being role models along the lines of a jerry sandusky.
I mean the last thing any decent parents should want is for their kids to grow up and become a teacher who's in the classroom one day and out walking the streets like some occupy wall street bum who is capable of defecating on a cop car.

Nice way for the overpaid public union teachers to remember those who died on 9/11. Bitching about their pay when our kids are 25th in math and science. What's that tell our kids? Fire them all.

After Rahm's own democrat party clearly showed hatred for the existence of Israel, which clearly reflects Obama's feelings via his platform for the democrat convention, do you blame him for shoving it up Obama's ass? I don't. I am for Israel. They are a key player in the Mid-East whether you like it or not. Thank God they happen to be there. I sure hope Rahm straightens Obama's dumb ass out.

Nobody talks about Jerry Sandusky more than you, John. Is he your hero or something?

Decent parents should want to keep their children away from you. You must be on that list the police keep...

Rahm will capitulate under pressure from Axelrod and Obama . They don't want Dem party leaders to be viewed as Christi or Scott busting unions.

Who is a hero in Chicago? 400,000 kids
that should be in school, aren't! WHY, teachers
could had this strike in the summer, but NO,
they knew thay had to make their union statement
and the kids would help them get what a want....
'cause the kids have no where to go and the parents
get screwed. Have you looked at those
teachers? Are they your idea of what is an educater? This is the most stupid strike I've
ever witnessed! WHAT do these people really want?
Has it anything to do with teaching your children?? Hell NO, they have the lowest grade
scores and drop out rate.... Be ashamed Unions and the people of Chicago...Get rid of the whole
bunch and "send out the call for teachers to replace these "????" America, isn't it time to
get rid of these people! Teachers who teach,
leaders who lead and take your future back for you
KIDS!!!A change has to be made......you all know
it, its politices more important than your
childrens life....Your looking just like those
"so called" teachers....

Chicago is the crime capital of the US and the schools are failing. The solution is paying the union thugs who enabled this even more. Obama in 2012.

It's Chicago, this is what they do. Rahm will 'take on' the union, teachers will get a few paid days off, a little media coverage for all, and the unions will get half what they ask for and the other half under the table. Rahm looks good, the union bosses look good and the taxpayer gets to pay.

Chicago is a MESS

Even 'tough guy' Emanuel can't control what's happening...shootings, killings DAILY

Emaneul:
"Get away from that kid. Take your stuff away to the alley. Don't touch the children of the city of Chicago. Don't get near them. And it is about values. Who raised you? How were you raised? And I don't buy this case where people say they don't have values. They do have values. They have the wrong values. Don't come near the kids -- don't touch them."

Rahm's philosophy: go ahead and keep shooting, just do it away from the children.

With that mentality 'leading' Chicago no wonder why nothing is happening and the shootings go on. It's a lost city.

Chicago-being overrun by gangsters, squeezing out the good people and poor leadership at the helm.

Send them a 'dead fish', Rahm, that will tell them you mean business. Rahm is such a pipsqueak! Get some cojones, Rahm.

And Rahm's kids are IN school...a charter school(same CHARTER SCHOOL the Obamas sent their children to, bypassing nearby public school!)NO SIREE, no public school for their kids, just the rest of the public.

It's time for ALL parents to have the ability to send their children to schools of THEIR CHOICE!

VOUCHERS FOR ALL. ELITISTS LIKE RAHM AND OBAMA put their children in Charter schools, peons have to have their children in FAILING schools, that employ failing teachers-they need 'help' to be better teachers. Is that right? well then put Sacha and Malia in a classroom for a whole year with a teacher that 'needs help' to be better. A WHOLE YEAR WASTED for those children. INFERIOR education-due to 'helping' failing teachers to get better at teaching!

Are you willing to have your child, grandchild in a classroom for an ENTIRE year with a teacher found to be "deficient" and getting 'help' to be better? WHAT A WASTE! Damn SAD!

Last night the Union mouth piece was saying it is not the unions fault, or the teachers fault that they have only a 44% graduations rate and that only 56% of the 8th graders can read at grade level..........the liberal spokes person said it was the parents fault.......

Parents have some culpability for sure, but to put all the blame on parents that are also voters is not the smartest ploy in their cracker jack box.

Is this what we as citizens are willing to settle
for? By the looks of things, Americans do
not care anymore. So the kids settle for
noting too. "We" going to pay for college just
because it looks good. Are any of them prepared
for college. ITS still the crime capital....
Its where our whole government consist of...
Obama brought them with him.....Anybody going
to do anything about it?? Not a chance....
Care for nothing except the democrat party.
Kids and future be dam. If your shoes don't
fit and they hurt your feet, you get rid of them!!!
But not those who ruin the future of you children.
They aren't worth it..

Yes, I'm sure that's why the mafia in the hey day of the unions wanted to have complete control of them.......because they were such fine institutions. Unions have been pimps for voter blccks for decades and that gives them political clout......they are the bully at the voting box.
