Is it possible this nutcase could actually get elected? I've never seen such ignorant comments come out of a politicians mouth in all my life.

People who oppose abortions are not nut cases. It's people who support slaughtering unborn babies who are sick in the head.

Take a look at this picture and then come back and tell me that you actually support doing this to another human being:

I'm sad to say that Akin is running to represent the great state of Missouri. All I know is that if he gets elected I'm running for another state to live in!

Maybee you're not familiar with how liberal Liberty, MO isn't, maybee you don't nderstand our legacy of being one the cornerstone of the Bible Belt, but personally I think you're just some Mormon the Boggs act being repealed because out here we gladly welcome you to come spend some time in our historical Mormon prision and learn what Christianity really is. Or did the devil fool you into thinking that adding books to the bible and believing in false profits was ok little boy.

I'm not a Mormon, but I am quite familiar with their theology.

I've been a Christian for over 25 years and have a deep knowledge of historic Christian beliefs and practices. There is nothing about abortion that is acceptable to Christianity. It is murder of the most barbaric and gruesome kind, committed against the most innocent and helpless of all human beings.

Christianity and abortion are mutually exclusive.

And I'm not your "little boy". I'm old enough to be your pappy.

I'm far from a mental midget, and anyone choosing to murder another human being is wrong. The power of free choice does not extend to the point of taking human life.

Bullshit. Look at the picture and then tell me that isn't the butchered body of a human being.

Since Liberals have killed enough babies to pave Interstate 10 coast to coast with bodies and believe human life is nothing more than compost, passing laws to sterilize those getting abortions would remind of the real beliefs of Planned Parenthood from Sanger to the present, especially in Black neighborhoods.

You argument about the pros or cons of abortion are irrelevant to this issue. Todd Akin has a diseased brain. If you can't see that, you are hopeless.

Your petty personal attacks on Akin are due to his opposition to abortion, nothing else. Therefore, the issue IS abortion.

Akin is far from having a diseased brain. He's a very intelligent man who has a superb conservative voting record. He's shown himself to be a man of character, standing on his principles in the face of severe condmenation and even abandonment by his own party. The man has guts.

Contrast that with McCaskill who has no spine at all and has consistently voted to support the far left ideology of the marxist wackos in DC.

There really is no debate in this election. McCaskill is an utter failure who holds office only to represent the DNC, not the people of Missouri. Because of her, we have massive debt and extreme government intrusion into our lives.

Only retarded liberal idiots will vote for McCaskill. Everyone else will vote for Akin.

It may be a real picture, it may be photoshop. Most abortions are done before that point in gestation anyway.

"Human being" is a religious/philosophical concept, and thus open to opinion. If the picture is real, is it a human fetus? Yes.

I've seen those "100" pictures for years. You really don't think you're the first one to post links, right? Most of them are of dubious origin at best. Photoshop is very convenient, isn't it? And the fact is that some of those pics that are supposed to be of late term abortions, given a knowledge of abortion methods, and the state of the bodies, are more likely stillbirths than abortions. Shit, some of them could be sleeping neonates for the look of them.

Murder is illegal killing. Abortion is legal. Since you cannot have legal illegal killing, then abortion is not murder. No matter how much you want to pretend it is.

The right to privacy, which covers the right to medical self-determination, INCLUDES the right to make one's own choice regarding one's own pregnancy. I'm sorry, but that's a fact.

THIS guy Akin is a nutcase, as far as I'M concerned anyway. Anyone who publicly states the kind of BACKWARD, nonsensical garbage as Akin has deserves to be called such.

It isn't just that Akin opposes abortion. He's made so many idiotic public statements, like the "unladylike" comment about Senator McCaskill, that I think anyone who votes for him probably has a few screws loose upstairs him/herself.

Only backward-thinking MORONS like you will vote for Akin. With luck, those will be in the very small minority.

Everyone who is intelligent and wants an intelligent candidate for their Senator will vote for McCaskill.

I agree with the Akin issue, he's nuts. However, so is the VP of the USA. A buffoon who says idiotic things every single day. There are idiots everywhere, so just don't vote for them. Obama has been embarassed by Biden often.

Vote for whomever you want, but don't think for a second that Bishop Rmoney is "pro-life".
