Muslim candidates, running in variety of elections across U.S., face backlash

There are 55 comments on the The Japan Times story from Jul 15, 2018, titled Muslim candidates, running in variety of elections across U.S., face backlash. In it, The Japan Times reports that:

A liberal woman of color with zero name recognition and little funding takes down a powerful, long serving congressman from her own political party. When Tahirah Amatul-Wadud heard about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's stunning upset over U.S. Rep. Joe Crowley in New York's Democratic primary last month, the first-time candidate saw parallels with her own long-shot campaign for Congress in western Massachusetts.

"Anyone but a straight, White male" probably puts most emphasis on the male part.

...but we all know that the Democrats are all about issues.....yep..... rape....real or imagined.

Ok, so why isn’t Trump holding everyone to a higher standard?

You keep saying what Obama did or Hillary did.

Trump was supposed to be so much better.

He’s floundering and in way over his head.

He really blew it today.

It’s time Trump learned how to consult with advisors and diplomats.

Or even better, it’s time he resigned.

This job is clearly way out of his skill set.

The Real Question is, why didn't you hold Obama to a higher standard you are trying to hold Trump to. Trump isn't named liar of the year, Obama was.

The question is why is Ill Duce Trump holding Obama to a higher standard than Ill Duce Trump holds himself to?

Ill Duce Trump attacks Obama for doing nothing about supposed Russian meddling.

Then Ill Duce Trump the next day says he can't do anything about that except ask Putin and note Putin's denials.

Most right wing complaints about President Obama are more than just "tinged" with racism.

First of all, I know that Obama made as much progress as he could with the Congress he had to hold Putin accountable.

Trump isn’t even trying a little bit.

But for arguments sake, if I am wrong, and Obama really didn’t do the right thing then, it is high time Trump do it now.

After today’s meeting, it is clear, nothing will be done.

Maybe because the first African American President did nothing in 8 years, and the American people already know that little fact. If he did, please tell me what he did for the American people.

Ok, genetically-deficient, lying, racist, child molesting cretin:
What do you suggest Trump do now to prevent Russian meddling two years ago?

Most left wing complaints about President Trump are more than just tinged with idiocy.

White supremacist, the intel community says that claimed Russian efforts are ongoing and that not enough has been done in any timeframe to stop the claimed Russian hacking.

If Ill Duce Trump is crying that something wasn't done then, then he can surely say what can be done now, which is what should have been done then...while Ill Duce Trump was busy denying anything like "Russian hacking" was occurring at all (until he changed on this in the past few months under pressure.) Ill Duce Trump's action plan: Ask Putin about Russia's activities and note Putin's "strong" denials.

It's another Birther quality, fake complain about Obama, a type of complaint you go for wholeheartedly, Birther.

It's not surprising that you have trouble understanding a simple question.
What do you suggest Trump do now to prevent Russian meddling two years ago?
That is, if you can focus your warped, racist mind on your earlier post long enough to defend the absurd illogical statements you made.

By the way, idiot degenerate, can you identify the fake complaints about Obama or is this yet another of your own fake complaints about President Trump?

The reported threat is reported to be continuing right now, and that not enough has been done. If Ill Duce Trump were doing something about the claimed threat which is supposedly continuing then he would have some basis to attack Obama on this.

As it is Ill Duce Trump's solution to this reportedly ongoing threat is to ask Putin about Russia's activities and to note his strong denials. And in Birther style to place blame for inaction on Obama....

Also, it wasn't just two years ago that Ill Duce Trump was flat out denying this reported problem of Russian hacking, it was as recently as months ago that Ill Duce Trump was dismissing these claims. So obviously Ill Duce Trump was not in a position to so much as say anything about it two years ago....

I am sure Putin said he didn't meddle in our election, and President Trump said we didn't meddle in Putin's election. Both lied, and neither kept the other from being elected. Time to move on.

NSA Officials ‘Furious’ At Obama, Say He Knew Of Foreign Leader Spying
Written by: Daniel Jennings Politics 1 Comment Print This Article

With the White House claiming President Obama did not know the United States was listening to the phone conversations of leaders of friendly nations, officials within the National Security Agency are pushing back, saying Obama’s own administration approved of the spying.
This all comes as members of the media and some in Congress are beginning to ask: What did the president know, and when did he know it?
Around 35 heads of government, including friends of the United States that pose no military or terrorist threat to the US, were targeted. The NSA surveillance threatens to undermine not only US foreign policy but possibly national security.
“A grave breach of trust,” and “completely unacceptable” are how German Chancellor Angela Merkel described allegations that the NSA hacked her smartphone. The allegations were exposed by the German magazine Der Spiegel and seem to have been confirmed by German spy agencies. Additionally, the Spanish newspaper El Mundo reported that the NSA monitored 60 million calls within Spain during a single month last year – a revelation that threatens relations with that country.
If these allegations, are true, they could damage US national security by turning important allies against America. Germany is the largest and richest nation in the European Union. Germany also hosts military forces and German forces did participate in operations in Afghanistan.
Revisit the counsel of great men and learn how to reclaim the quality of government we once enjoyed.
The surveillance allegations are apparently threatening negotiations to create a free trade zonebetween the US and the EU.

The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank said it “stretches credulity to think that the United States was spying on world leaders without the president’s knowledge.

I was talking about Ill Duce Trump's baseless attack on Obama for supposedly doing nothing about claimed "Russian hacking."

Ill Duce Trump spent two years denying any such "Russian hacking" occurred. Then in front of Putin Ill Duce Trump said all he can do about this claimed "Russian hacking" is ask Putin about Russia's activities and note Putin's strong denials.

In this context it is beyond fatuous for Ill Duce Trump to then suddenly attack Obama for supposedly doing nothing about claimed "Russian hacking."

What the Democrats don't want Americans to know is the Russians tried to spy on Republicans too, but they had a more secure system. There is something about leaving your server in some kid's bathroom that makes it easy to get control of your political secrets.

First Obama knew about the hacking attempts two years before the election and did nothing. Just before the election Obama said there was no hacking. Cue next liberal yarn.
