As a young adult and having struggled with addiction myself, i can confidently say that the youth of Monroe, N.C., and the United States are more and more likely to become addicted to drugs. I believe that todays youth are being directed through the media to want instant gradification, which leads to people make bad choices without think out the consequences and repercutions of those actions.
