South and North America need to join EU, and EU need to become common country.

America made by Europe, so is anormal to be separate.

This is the best for all, and the best and for Falklands.

Obama did not say anything new
The US NEVER recognized the UK sovereignity in Malvinas
(Sure, they encourage the brits to stay there behind the curtains, with their usual hipocresy, because they like the idea of a military base there, and a base of their puppets is a base of their own)

so, if you can kick out people living in an area for hundreds of years because the other country 'feels' this barren rock is theirs, but settlers took it over, then I guess the brits can demand the US back since settlers took it over 200+ years ago, right ?

The topic title is at best Misleading, but really plainly wrong!

Obama clearly had to prior feed from his staff on the issue. And clearly no one was thrown under a bus so to speak.

We have only fought defending our territory.
We never stole other people's land
That is something you can not say.
You also came in 1806 and 1807 to take Buenos Aires...
Then, when weapons were more even....well look for what happened yourself...it was not pretty
Worst redcoat disaster to that time
1833 was your cowardly vengeance for that

And if you had been the french during the blitzkrieg you would have been rolled over too
Remember the Bulge counteroffensive with a Germany many times weaker
Or ask your cousins about the Dunkirk evacuation..
Or about Singapur..
The French are not cowards
You were surrendering chickens in Vietnam, then?

Conquest of the desert in the 1870s ring any bells for you argentines..?

Your 100 peso note, actually carries a reproduction of a picture in the Museo Histórico Nacional, Buenos Aires, showing Julio Roca’s officers celebrating their victory on the Río Negro following their campaign of extermination.

Tierra del Fuego and the Devonshire incident..?

Kindest regards from the Falkland Islands

The General Belgrano was a ship of war! Part of a fleet of other Argentinian warships! It was a legitimate target. When you start a war be prepared for the repercussions! Following the sinking of the Cruiser Belgrano the rest of the Argentian Navy task force retreated.

Thank you Ricardo for proving that you and you fellow Argentinians are brain washed by a desperate, failure of a society. It may be the case that the uk should not have taken the falkland islands back 200 years ago, but we did. There is now a community that live there and should be allowed to live there for as long as they choose to. Just because some greasy desperate president needs a few votes she is victimising a community. It should be the falkland islanders taking her to the UN. She is the empire builder not us. You ridiculous people make me sick. Concentrate on getting your own bankrupt nation back on its feet.
