Graham is partially correct.

If we go back into Iraq and force ISIS back out, they will withdraw back into Syria, which means we would have to go into that country as well.

I doubt Assad would be understanding in our intervention in his country.

An ugly situation, with no clear answers yet.

Unilateral support from surrounding countries seems to be the only hope of combating ISIS. America cannot do this alone, nor should we.

I disagree. We need to contain them in Iraq,on hostile ground. Then we degrade them with air strikes.Finally.allow those who were persecuted to exact justice on them.ISIS is fighting a guerilla war without a source to replenish their weapons. We shouldn't hestitate to clean up this mess caused by American weapons falling into ISIS hands. We need to repeat the"highway of death"scenario that occurred when the Iraqi army looted Kuwait and were caught out in the open.

ISIS is probably already in America. They can come across the border with the illegal aliens of every stripe. I know we have picked up other terrorists. It doesn't matter. Obama thinks if he starts a war he can stick around for a third term of Golf, and goodies.

While I agree we need to contain them in Iraq and re-take the land the have captured, they have already, according to recent intelligence briefings released, returned many American weapons to Syria.

While in Syria, they will re-group - and are well funded and now well equipped. This is whgy we may eventually end up fighting, unfortunately in Syria. I hope not, but it seems inevitable.

Typical Marxist supporter cowardice and lies. Misdirecting attention off the weapons Obama has put into Syrian, Libyan terrorist hands and the particular Muslim extremists Marxist Democrats have emboldened for two decades moving into Iraq after Obama initiated chaos and anarchy in all surrounding Muslim States. You filth have cost the lives of thousands of US troops because of your deadly politic and insistence to do what you're doing here... misinforming people of the core problem in the world... US Democrats.

Who INVADED IRAQ you moron?

Bush and a republican led Congress.

Obama never put weapons into Syria you lying filth / much less 2 decades you uninformed moron.

Bush cost those men's lives by starting a pre-emptive war / all fact, but you go right on staying stupid. you're good at something anyway.

And you obviously have no idea what a Marxist is. Love how you uninformed trolls throw these phrases around, without actual knowledge of what the term means.

"Marx·ism [mahrk-siz-uhm] Show IPA

noun
the system of economic and political thought developed by Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, especially the doctrine that the state throughout history has been a device for the exploitation of the masses by a dominant class, that class struggle has been the main agency of historical change, and that the capitalist system, containing from the first the seeds of its own decay, will inevitably, after the period of the dictatorship of the proletariat, be superseded by a socialist order and a classless society."

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/marxis...

Show one conclusive illustration how Marxism is being employed in this country you moron.

Make sure you have verifiable links to support your ludicrous statements.

Otherwise, please be silent.

American weapons are useless without American ammo. The ISIS attack will reach it's peak but we must degrade their combat capability to threaten.Armor and artillery are vunerable to air attacks. We need to seal the Iraq-Syria border, use massive airstrikes to degrade them and allow those who were persecuted to exact justice on them. They are not"holy warriors".

While I agree, it may be difficult to rally the American people again in another Iraqi incursion.

Nothing Holy whatsoever about executing someone who does not share your beliefs. Sad thing is, many of these ISIS fighters may well be from Saddam's former 500,000 man military. They were disbanded under the Bush administration (no, not pointing fingers here - simply stating the facts!).

When a terrorist faction scares the crap out of Al Qaeda, you know this is serious.

That's correct.I read that ISIS's No,2 man was killed in Syria. He was a former ranking officer in Saddam's Army.A mercenary for hire. The Obomb needs to stop talking about Iraqi politics and various rubbish and face facts that this terrorist army must be cut off and killed IN IRAQ.Our immigration laws need to be overhauled.Any American fighting for a jihadi cause should be prosecuted and their passports revoked while they are outside the US.

As far as I'm concerned, even if you are American, of you are overseas assisting the Jihadists, you are a terrorist - kill them where they stand, like the rest of them/ I'm tired of hearing people say on these threads "THEY HAVE RIGHTS" - I say" F'K YOU THEY HAVE RIGHTS!" Shit, they don't care about America any longer - goodbye and good riddance!

Bi-partisan immigration reform has already passed the Senate with unanimous support almost two years ago - the House, led by 20 or so Tea Party Congressmen, refuse to allow the bill to come to a vote.

Lack of comprehensive immigration reform is now the sole fault of the House GOP members.

Great post… President Obama is a very intelligent man and all of his actions are well thought out with a 4 steps ahead mentality. Unlike Bush who was intellectually lazy and shot from the hip with every disastrous decision, President Obama will not have this country in endless wars and nation building; he wants to nation build at home.
Graham and the GOP are a joke and that is why the American people elected President Obama over any and all right-wing challengers.

The Obomb is nothing new.Isolationism does not work,an aggressive military stance does.Isolationism was the policy of the post WW1 period. It saw the rise of nationalism, communism, fascism, and the Nazi's.Do you seriously think that by disarming and cowering behind our borders,we'll be spared!ISIS wants to remove borders between Islamic ME states. Why?Borders are the rule of law and they protect the citizens within those borders through the fear of military retaliation.MAD insured that the Cold war was fought through proxy wars rather than nuclear confrontation.

Obama wants to "nation build at home" with illegal aliens.
His foreign policy set the world on fire and none of our allies are supporting him anywhere (not that Obama ever asked for support).
Obama's lack of leadership has created a vacuum that sucked in terrorism on a global scale. The intellectuals in Oslo are hanging their heads in shame for awarding Obama the Peace Prize now that they see the havoc Obama has brought.
Bush kept the lid on the boiling pot of terrorism. Obama's lack of leadership allowed the pot to boil over. And, the naive ineptness of both Hillary and Kerry helped. And that is no joke.

It is time for CHANGE. The "failed" policies of Bush have been demonstrated to be immensely more successful than the disastrous Progressive policies.

I agree with you...a Jihadist is a terrorist, no matter where they came from. They all deserve the exact same fate.

Both the House and the Senate have passed separate immigration bills knowing that it wouldn't get a vote in the other house. The gridlock in Washington is a two party, two house game. While blaming the Republican majority in the House for the gridlock makes a good campaign slogan for the Dems, it's bullshit. Both houses and parties are playing the exact same game. Yet we keep re-electing these fools.

the pro-illegals want an open amnesty that places no limits on the numbers that could apply. don't believe me? ask any pro-illegal at what point do they draw the line on the numbers. ask any of them.

they won't tell you because they want everybody who desires to come in to do so...all at the expense of America and americans.

now where's the logic of following such a plan? the answer - there isn't any.

you seem to be suggesting that we should have an amnesty. my question to you is - why?
