BOO! I've been to England many times. Work related and pleasure. Really? Never had to defend myself or my family. Some of the blabber that comes out of your mouth is hilarious. When you get out, try to get a passport, scrape up the money and go. Look around at the people on the street - they don't look like you, hill-billy.

People on the street look like what they are, subjugated island swine.

Just remember, when you get there, if you try to defend yourself against a thug or rapist, you will be charged with assault. Assuming you would be willing to violate a criminals rights by defending yourself. And of course, defending yourself is something you seem to have little experience with. TO DEFEND ONE SELF IS ONE THING THAT IS THE VERY CORE OF OUR CONSTITUTION AS WELL AS TO BEAR ARMS. AS A WEAPONS OWNER AND WITH PERMIT TO HAVE YOU MUST BE PRUDENT AS TO ITS USE I HAVE THEM FOR HUNTING AND PROTECTION;EXAMPLE I GOT A GUY AT 3AM STEALING MY FISHING POLES FROM MY YARD MIND YOU I GOT A DOG HIS FRIEND WAS DIVERTHING HIM TO MY BACK YARD THE STATE LAWS ARE I CAN SHOOT HIM HE IS IN MY YARD STEALING NEVER MIND THE DOG I MADE HIM DROPP THE POLES AND TOLD HIM TO SCOOT; YOU GETT MY POINT? AND AM A FORMER POLICEMAN AND CORRECTIONS OFFICER THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT TO SHOOT THE MAN NOW THE LAW SAYS I CAN; BUT IF THE MAN HAD A WEAPON OR TRYED TO COME AT ME I WOULD HAD DROPP HIS ASS ON THE YARD WIOTH OUT RESERVATION SO WHY ? NOT LET HIM GO ITS ALL A MATTER OF RIGTS HIS TO LIVE MINES TO LIVE IN PEACE FOR ALL I KNOW HE MAY HAD LEARNED HIS LESSON AND PASS IT ON.

Are you asking us to be impressed with a bunch of subjugated island swine who gnash their teeth with envy cuz they don't have a BILL OF RIGHTS, then bash their American cousins for being free? Who needs a passport to see that? We can just go to a stagnant pond and witness the pond scum floating on the water, same show and no travel expenses to speak of! BOO! I would rather go to a pond then always pawing through your case law books trying to find a way out.

Wow, I did not realize that you could use deadly force, in TN, against someone merely because they are in your yard. Damn, that is kind of harsh. In NC, most of the time your life or someone else's has to be in immediate danger before you can use deadly force. Be careful if you are in NC.

What you say to the police when they arrive is crucial. As High would say. Say nothing. You gotta be thinkin when you pull that trigger. It helps if you see the danger coming. Getting surprised and pulling the trigger to soon rather than to late is indeed the lesser of two evils. However, finding out too late that a deadly response was unnecessary means you did not meet your obligation to carry arms responsibly. That would be bad behavior.

Dr Sybil wrote: <quoted text> Hey mac! Does that mean you are admitting to defeat? By your admission. Please tell me why the criminal’s life is more viable than the victims are. Please tell me why the criminal has the right to have and carry a gun and the victims do not or should not. Please tell me how the victim being unarmed is the best thing and the criminal being armed is good. Why do you grace us with your childish lies and ignorance of your post? You have never stated anything of contextual relevance. You banter back and forth like a school kid needing attention. Therefore, EVERYONE PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE TROLL..

You and your gun are useless fossilized throwbacks to an era where anthrax and AC-130 gunships were pipe dreams. http://www.youtube.com/watch... I bet your pistol is a big match for that, right? Get into the next century, or if you're stuck on mandated laws are such because they are written down, how about the one that says "Thou shall not kill". You're an ape. He can not be an ape because of the fact we all were at one point [see evolution]and the Quote Thou shall not kill[I assume you are quoting [THE Ten COMMANDENTS] IS Thou shalt not kill You are a religous zealot and an anthropologist, you are a very smart man

It's looking like this statistic of half of gun deaths are suicides doesn't hold true in Hartford, CT. Looking like all shootings by gun are murder committed by criminals. http://www.courant.com/community/news/hfd/hc-... Of course you can't comment on any of these stories because the mayor is suppressing comments.
