While scores of local gay kids die of AIDS, Gay Councilman Robert Garcia swings into action, rallying for position as vice mayor (great title in his case) and renaming a park after some gay guy who has nothing to do with Long Beach except as a former statistically highly potential AIDs patient.

They want "gay marriage?" They can't even stop killing each other!

Don't even get me started on that place. I was a freshman at Long Beach State (UCLB) beginning with the Rodney King riots. It is absolutely the worst seething ape-hole I've ever lived in.
There's nothing to see here. As usual, gays love the drama, and shirk the responsibility. And that is why they will continue to pile up the dead bodies.

It seems the youth of today have lost their focus on what is morally right these days. It seems that the youth of today have FORGOTTEN 1981 when the death toll was beyond comprehension from the AIDS epidemic. Maybe the youth of today have not buried or cried over the death of a friend. A few drinks, a pretty face and there you go, another case to add to the CDC count. Just what the CDC is looking for. Maybe the youth of today think they can be saved by new drugs and lose focus just because they can take a drug. When your body starts to shut down because of these drugs, and the pills you have to take because this pill did not work or that pill did not do enough, maybe the youth of today will see that they are not invincible. Now it seems that just taking a drug is OK and that nothing will happen. BEWARE! If you want to spend the rest of your life taking pills, go right ahead. The CDC and local organizations want your number to educate you on what you can do to prevent the spread of this disease. The idea is to stop the spread of this disease and sooner or later, medications don't work. How lucky do you feel?
Just because you hook up with someone for a night and expect the relationship to last a lifetime, learn to live in the real world. Does it last? Not likely. So you get back at someone you spent just one night with and it didn't work out and this is your way of getting back at them. Nice!
So you do get into a relationship that lasts but have to spend the rest of your life going to a doctor, taking medications, spending money you don't need to spend but you still have this relationship...? And then that person dies from one form of the disease or another and THEN you wake up in sorrow. How many more do you have to bury before you wake up and take responsibility for YOUR actions?
Do you really know what it is like when someone contracts this disease and the reality of what you have to go through becomes real? There is discrimination out there, there is hate out there, there is people who don't want to understand and you want to face this?
How about explaining this to the parents who have to bury a loved one to this disease? Do you want to take responsibility for that? How about your partners feelings that may be dying of this disease while you live! Do you know some funeral homes do not want to take AIDS cases for burial due to the body fluids that are spread?
Sure have a drink or a snort and just let it happen. Now live with that for the rest of your life if you have a conscious. Maybe you don't have a conscious. Maybe you could be the one dying. How lucky do you feel?

If the youth are getting AIDS it has to be because older infected people are taking advantage of them.

Rather than to admit the limitations of Government medical "care", the revolutionary political ruling class usually link the many failures of that Government "care" in some way to tobacco use.

Since Big Government nationalized the tobacco industry, that supposed linkage is usually parroted through taxpayer subsidized NGO's that are primary beneficiaries of Big Tobacco money.

On the other hand, by contrast, it is well known that us children who do not do sex with the Africans - especially with Haitian Africans - our Homosexual friends and the lesbians, and intravenous drug users, have little to fear from contracting AIDS.

Since all of those groups associated with causal factors for contracting AIDS are important voting components that serve to keep the revolutionaries in power, unlike the abuse Big Government suffers on the tiny demonized minority of decent hard working taxpayers who use tobacco products, Big Government downplays the sexual and drug transmittal routes that result in contracting AIDS.

Remember that diet candy called AIDS? How come you can't find it in the stores any more?
