Obama was against "welfare-to-work" from the beginning. He opposed the Clinton/Republican deal that started it. He's working slowly to find ways around it, starting off with some mildly worded "waiver" actions. His real attack will come in his second term (if he gets one). He wants to "spread the wealth around". That's his ONLY goal. He doesn't give a sh*t if you work or sit on your ass drinking MD-20 all day.
