It's so rare for someone to be so honest in their contempt for civil rights. Points for being honest about your agenda.

Despite the fact that your mission is completely quixotic.

If not we will continue to have tragedies like Columbine, Aurora and Sandy Hook. I can assure you that the parents of children killed there don't give a shit about your misguided right to carry weapons that maim and kill
Yeah, it probably has something to do with spending all that time and money on 2 masters degrees and not learning any common sense.

"We need to get handguns and assault rifles out of this country. The 2nd Amendment has been a huge mistake. It needs to be changed or eliminated."

One thing I will grant you...at least you do understand that in order to get rid of handguns and assault rifles [sic] the 2nd Amendment "needs to be changed or eliminated."

Soooo...good luck with that.

"If not we will continue to have tragedies like Columbine, Aurora and Sandy Hook. I can assure you that the parents of children killed there don't give a shit about your misguided right to carry weapons that maim and kill."

I suggest that you learn to speak for yourself and not others. Not all of them share the same feelings much to the dismay of you and other gun control fanatics.

"We feel like all 26 families got lumped together': Family of teacher murdered at Sandy Hook speak out to OPPOSE gun control"

The D'Avino family wants it known that not all Sandy Hook families are in favor of gun laws

The family is also calling for an end to politicians using the incident to further their own agendas

Relatives of a Sandy Hook shooting victim have spoken out for the first time about opposing gun control saying they feel lumped together with other families from the tragedy in favor of new laws.

Though Rachel D'Avino, a teacher at the Newtown elementary school, was shot to death by a crazed gunman, her family still owns firearms - including an assault-style rifle - and is against any measures to control their purchase, according to her sister Hannah.

For the first time the D'Avinos said they wanted to outline their point of view - feeling that in the past they were simply presumed to have the same stance as other families in the massacre.

So you think you know more than the men who freed this country from a dictator? When was the last time you formed a country that became the most powerful superpower the world has ever known? It look like they did a pretty good job and obviously knew more than you. Until you change human nature tragedies will continue to happen regardless of the tool used. You greatly underestimate the human ability to simply create new and better ways to kill. If you eliminate one (guns) then airplanes or pressure cookers will do just fine or better. Violence is just part of our nature, accept that. To live in a fantasy that some how eliminating one simple tool will make all people join together in harmony just is not logical. However guns are at this point in time the best tool for self defense from those who don't care that you are a flower child. The parents of the children at Pearl high school are damn glad a teacher had a gun that day to save their children and don't give a shiit about you wanting their rights removed. By the way you are still dodging that question.

Remember airplanes or pressure cookers don't kill people, people with guns kill people.
What was your question? I don't recall you posting anything worthy of a response. I guess that's why you live in Mississippi.
"Remember airplanes or pressure cookers don't kill people, people with guns kill people."

What a frickin' idiot!!!!! BAD people kill people...they have used guns, killed thousands at once with airplanes, killed several and terrorized the entire city of Boston with pressure cooker bombs, knives, clubs, poison, cars...anything that a BAD person could use to kill another.

IF YOU don't want to protect yourself or your family from BAD people...then don't...THAT is your decision...BUT...don't think that YOU can make that decision for someone else...THAT is NOT your decision to make.

Thankfully the rest of us don't have to follow an idiot. Like I said "once you form a nation that becomes the most powerful superpower the world has ever known" then MAYBE we might listen to you. Like I also said, "the parents in Pearl MS. are damn glad a gun owning teacher saved their children from a maniac killer in their school". I guess real world effects are over your head. Lets see, self defense free zone = bunch of dead kids, pro self defense zone = live kids. Any more questions?

Here is the end:
According to Slate’s gun-death tracker, an estimated 9,650 people have died as a result of gun violence in America since the Newtown massacre on December 14, 2012.
SHAMEFUL!
"But the second amendment says I can own guns" (a timid little cowardly voice says)?
yes the Boston bomber is listed as a "victim" as are all the self defense uses and police shootings. Too bad the rest of us think that is a good thing. A reduction in repeat offenders is always a good thing.

Interesting that you use the same source that Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns used when they took their circus side show on the road and named the Boston bomber as a “victim” of gun violence...along with other criminals shot by the police...putz.

Answer your question? It is old hackneyed doggerel from the Ku Klux Klan. As low a scum as you are it is actually beneath you if that is possible. It does not deserve a response other than try to find a better class of people to hang with.
That's it? You come on here demanding people give up their rights yet can't answer a few questions related to why we shouldn't? It looks like you haven't thought your stance through very well. What is wrong, the liberal spoon feeding of propaganda didn't give you the script with all the answers? How about next time you join in a debate you REALLY research all the angles before just repeating a lie you bought into but no one else did.
