Obama needs to just eliminate congress altogether and declare himself Supreme Benevolent Leader. You know, to help the poor.

Congress set a new record in the first year of its 113th session, but not one it can brag about: only 66 bills were passed in 2013, making it the least productive in recorded history.

Few of the 66 bills passed this year were productive, with many serving only as ceremonial puffery, such as Congressional Gold Medal awards, use of the capitolís rotunda, celebration of previously-passed legislation, and expressions of sympathy to stray animals.

Took 239 days off.

Conducted December 16-19, the survey found that two-thirds of American adults regard this session to be the worst in their lifetimes, and 73 percent say Congress has done nothing to address the countryís current needs.

Current teabagger congress worst ever.

He is going to increase the tax returns of the poor with big family and increase the back taxes of the middle class so the poor will have equality with the working middle class. What a big deal in deed.

Of course you do.

Just like the teabagger congress.

239 days off!

The 126 days were spent naming Post Offices and trying to get monuments of Ronald Reagan in all state houses.

Poor teabagger.

You are complaining because the federal government left you alone, relatively speaking? You are complaining because the federal government didn't tell you what to do and how to do it as often as in the past. You think that's a bad thing, but it is not.
Here's something to try....Live your own life. Decide for yourself what you want to do, figure out how to get it done and then do it.
If you try this once, just once, you will revel in the freedom you enjoy. You will be proud of having accomplished something for yourself. You will never again sit around dumbly waiting for the federal government of give you instructions on how to live your life.

Yeah, "Do-Nothing Congress work only for the top 20% who paid for their campaign/election. For the rest of us, Big-Bank pay no interest on our savings while killing us with fees; Big Oil and Big Utility companies, Big Insurance companies tell us how much we should pay for indispensable commodities;
if we ask a for a raise, Big-Business get robots doing jobs they did not send to China. Big-GOP Business kill Union. We have have no FCKNG voice anymore.......... Congress listen only to Lobbyists who hired them. Without Obama, like what we've seen in Greece, we'd have a revolt on our hand already...

Screw the f''king do-nothing Republican-led Congress. If Obama doesn't do what he can without this house of slugs, nothing will get done.

I think Obama's biggest task in the state-of-the-union address is to win back the people, to inspire them as he has in the past. With the people on his side, we can get rid of those obstinate, ignorant, extreme right clowns who obstruct progress and keep America from reaching new heights as a great nation.

The communists would take over if Republicans in Congress wouldn't put up a fight. This is the first time in U.S. history, that a COMMUNIST is President.

Now you're showing signs of brain activity.

Next time, everyone should exercise their sacred right to vote (especially if you're on my side).

If indeed Obama can win back the people and replace the "do nothing" congress, more power to him. However last I checked we were not a dictatorship.
