Sequester cuts hit poor, elderly, cancer patients

Jun 15, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: WBNS

In March, as the sweeping $85 billion reductions known as sequestration kicked in, President Barack Obama called them "stupid" and "arbitrary" and said they could thwart economic progress.

Please provide me with the link for previous presidents who spent $60-100 MILLION dollars as reported by every major news outlet on a safari or the like for their family while hunger hits an all-time high. Thanks.

It isn't the Sequester, that is a joke. Americans are allowed to die using the new rules from Obamacare. Look what they did to that 10 year old. If your care might cost too much, they will let you die. Unless you are a black, Hispanic illegal, or life long Democrat. There is a whole different criteria now. Fortunately, the whole bunch will be sent packing along with the Kenyan kid. He can make war with Syria. He could start WW3, and he is still gone as soon as possible. Then I want the Democrats that might be left in D C to explain how they covered for this horrible little man.

90 percent of Medicare money is spent in the last few months of life.
Be a patriot; if the diagnosis is terminal take one for your country and die under comfort care in hospice without all the fancy stuff.

Everyone in my family has worked all their lives, and paid taxes to care and feed the monkeys in the zoo, and every one else. I hope they spend hundreds of thousands on their last days dragging it out to get some of what they paid into the political slush funds for their booze, and cigarettes.

Mandella should hang on until he is nothing but a 53 pound bag of puss. Then all of South Africa can go full on groid violent and kill off another 850,000 a day for six months of 'mourning.'

You're so right.

It's not like Bush went on a safari.
http://www.economist.com/node/1914587

Or Clinton.
http://news.google.com/newspapers...

And it sounds like Obama's safari is 100% ready to go. No chances of it being downscaled to a visit to a former slave fort.

You know, I hear that Obama has hit the record for presidential vacation time and spending, as well.

Seriously, do people not do a cursory google search before writing foolish things?

Apparently not. Obama was the one who told the auto worker industry that they were going to have to suffer by giving up their jobs for the good of the country as well as telling the rest of us we were all going to have to give up a little bit of skin. Can you do a cursory Google and find me the same quotes from Clinton or Bush?

What's it like to think you know it all, Tranp, based on telling others to do cursory Google searches?

20% of Ohio is not getting enough to eat - the highest percentage ever. Those that are still lucky enough to have jobs are often underemployed. Even picking up extra work, it is difficult to afford the constant increases in insurance, food, gasoline, utilities - the basics. Meanwhile, I'm not to notice that Barack Obama wants to go on safari with his family and spent $60-$100M to do so?
