What's the big deal?

The committee just wants to hear opposing points of view.

It would be pretty pointless to have a hearing where they only listen to one side of the story.

Are you afraid that this "illegal" might just be rational and persuasive?

The U.S. needs to welcome the immigrant. Especially those of us who came here as infants.

Cite a "rational and persuasive" reason for not enforcing our immigration laws.

Immigrants come here legally and are welcome, illegal aliens are the polar opposite.

We NEED TO WELCOME YOU ILLEGAL ALIENS?!!!! NOT WHEN YOU PAY NO INCOME TAX! NEVER, you have no right to dictate to us what we should or should not be doing. We do however, welcome LEGAL immigrants.

They are LEGISLATORS, they MAKE LAW, they are not police who enforce laws.

Hence, if they are considering CHANGING a law, they should look at all sides of the issue.

Get it?

I didn't ask WHO makes the laws. I made no comment about legislators enforcing laws.

I said cite a reasonable and persuasive reason for not enforcing them.

You haven't done that.

1. Over-population (Imagine in 50 years)
2. How can you take
care of millions
of illegals when
the government
can't even take
care of it's own
citizens.(This country is broke)
3. Rewarding wrong-doers (Again)
4. Gangs
5. Destroying neighborhoods.(And don't say this doesn't happen)

We've all heard his side of the story. Justification of abusing the immigration laws to flaunting the rule of law in our faces. He's just another ego-maniac trying to defend illegal behavior. These stories use up precious resources and rarely accomplish anything. If Americans would bring law suit's against ICE, for not doing their job, that would be worth all the hoop law.
