Britain was very glad for US help in the War,i believe we only finished paying you back about two years ago,but thanks anyway,as for becoming a minor province of the Third Reich i think my Dad his Brother and thousands more like them did a lot to prevent that happening starting two years before you came into the War,now we are a minor Province of the US Reich, and it makes me want to puke.

But germans are not that stupid, they won't comprimise their relations with Russia for sake of few Russophobes from Galicia who don't even live in Ukraine. Fact that few ukrainian emigrants in West have fetish of making Ukraine isolated from Russia have no impact on reality. Ukraine needs Russia and without Russia it would wither and die like broken bough.

fool.. exactly the opposite.. if Russia doesn't have Ukraine to build military weapons, provide agricultural products... Russia would starve. and wither.

They need Ukraine to keep them alive.

Europe also needs more workers, smart computer guys, and new market for goods.

Ukraine is in good postion for future. They just neeed to get rid of Russian crooks and politicians..

my ass.. the USA didn't come in to the war until the very end. the ruskies did the heavy liftting,

the USA came in to wave the flag but didn't do too much.....t

Look at Berlin, all the war memorials are Russian... the US just sat back and watched the European war.

They were too busy with japan, whom they embargoed to start the conflict. Their fault.

Thankfully, they got some smart jews to build the bomb they dropped on defenceless people in NAGASAKI

too chicken to fight on land....

Look at Bulgaria and Romania, that is the future of Ukraine if it chooses the European path.

TM--your version of history is really flawed. You must have gotten it at school in Russia. You are parroting all the claTims made for decades by the Russians. U.S. supplied a large portion of weapons for England AND Russia. They were a major force in the war. As for Japan-- we did not make them expand into China and Indochina. We did not make them attack Pearl Harbor.

You are so ignorant and pro-Russian that it is disgusting. You should move to Russia except that they probably wouldn't let a moron like you into the country.

Maybe not but they sure shipped a lot of aircraft and other weapons to Russia via the Murmansk Run-- of course you, like a good widdle Ruski, will deny that any were shipped.

BTW the luxury car used by Soviet Officials right after WWII was in reality a 1941 Packard- thedies etc. were shipped to the Russians and they produced the cars in Russia.

The only people freezing were those who had the gas shut off when Putin used it as a weapon. If Rusia is such a great place how come they have such a thriving Black Market Economy?

BTW - When I was in Ukraine in 2010 both Russia and Ukraine had a serious drought. Poor Russia was whining about not being able to grow enough grain for their people. Ukraine, despite the drought condition, ws not only able to supply her own people but also to sell grain to Russia.
Get your facts straight or STFU

I agree with last comment, keep you mouth shut instead of proving you are a complete fool, or at least put in some facts to back up your opinions.

What you gave were your opinions, opinions which may be biased, may not be biased, may be factual or maybe fiction, maybe accurate or an exaggeration. If you haven't noticed I gave you facts, and that is the GDP per Capita of the two countries, here they are again Ukraine:$3,867, Russia:$14,037, according to the World Bank. Another fact is that the Ukraine's GDP per capita is the second lowest in Europe only higher than Moldova, even Albania which has been for years the most undeveloped and poor country in Europe has a higher GDP per capita than Ukraine. Typically countries with a high GDP per Capita (such as Austria and Switzerland) are nicer places to live than countries with a lower GDP per Capita (such as Burkina Faso and Ethiopia). Of course there are many other factors such as climate, politics, population density etc which define which place is better to live in. You can never truly know unless you have lived in both places.

I didn't hear Russia whining about not having enough food, but I did hear Ukraine and Bulgaria whining that they were freezing to death and experiencing power shortages, when the gas was cut. About the black market economy, Russia still has a lot of problems from the 90s it needs to fix, and it can't happen overnight, however you conveniently left out Ukraine's black market economy which is just as thriving as Russia's. Anyway what would be best for these two countries is for them to work together instead of fighting each other, and my advice to Ukraine is too stay away from the EU, unless it wants to be a poor, hated EU periphery state like Bulgaria and Romania which the EU forgets about them most of the time but only remembers them when they need to hurt Russia or when the Western European countries face the prospect of mass immigration.

You can prove anything with statistics s yo have so well proven. HOever, I was in Ukraine during the drought nd watch the news. YOu don't know wht you are talking about. Now go dig up and adjust more statistics to bolster your point. But whatever you do, don't get out and talk to the people. If you did that you might learn something and I don't think your ego oculd handle tht.

I used statistics and data to back up my opinion that Russia is better off than Ukraine. Here are the facts again, Russia has a stronger economy, eight largest in the world, Russia's gdp per capita is almost 5 times higher than that of Ukraine. Now keep pushing your opinion forward that Ukraine is better off than Russia but you haven't shown one reason or statistic or fact as to why, you have only said its better off just because.

Russian curency reserves are 3d biggest in the world after Chineese and Japaneese ones, Ukraine loans money just to pay interests of previous loans. It will end up with finacial collapse of Ukraine one day.

The guy is a moron. He will be telling that Ukraine is better off than Russia even when Ukraine will declare default.

Koraly--Mark Twain once said that there were three kinds of lies: Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics. You are a mster at twisting all three to your own ends.

Both of you must pardon us if we lugh at your stupidity and blindness HAHAHAHAHAHA

Now go back to your cold war era playbooks and dig up some more gambits to try.

Hello Eurofriends,
Russia, Russia, Russia, the Incredible Shrinking Russia....
Here is a fascinating article by George Will on Russia's most remarkable population decline:
....."Russia is suffering a demographic decline on a scale that is normally associated with the effects of a major war."
According to projections by the United Nations Population Division, Russia's population, which was around 143 million four years ago, might be as high as 136 million or as low as 121 million in 2025, and as low as 115 million in 2030.
Marx envisioned the "withering away" of the state under mature communism. Instead, Eberstadt writes, the world may be witnessing the withering away of Russia, where Marxism was supposed to be the future that works. Russia, he writes, "has pioneered a unique new profile of mass debilitation and foreshortened life previously unknown in all of human history."
"History," he concludes, "offers no examples of a society that has demonstrated sustained material advance in the face of long-term population decline." Demography is not by itself destiny, but it is more real than an arms control "process" that merely expresses the liberal hope of taming the world by wrapping it snugly in parchment.

No point losing any sleep over Russia's demographic crisis....the Chinese will always make up for Russia's population decline.
In the meantime, Europe will need to prepare for Russia's imminent instability.
Smug and self-satisfied Euro-nations can increase stability by get off their behinds and start helping Ukraine and other countries gain more military security by NATO membership, advance human rights and democracy, so they can escape the gravity of neofascist Russia's black hole of incredible shrinking Putinism.

It wasn't communism that destroyed Russia. It was the result of thieving cronies, who like Stalin were crooks and thugs.
Russia never had real communism
and they don't have real Capitalism now.

They just have crony crookery. Unfortunately the Russian people are too scared to fight and take back their country. They like being treated like beaten dogs.

The Pussy Riot girls have more balls than Russian men.

The Ukraine will eventually do well, like Poland and Czech Republic.. Russia will never have influence over them in the future....
