President Obama Has Only Ever Signed Gun Laws That Expand Owners' Rights
Despite the perception that Mr. Obama is anti-gun rights (gun shop owners say fear of his policies drives strong gun sales), he has repeatedly reaffirmed the right to bear arms. Indeed, the only gun-control laws he has signed as president have been to expand gun rights – allowing guns on national park lands and Amtrak trains. He also said this year that “hunting and shooting are part of a cherished national heritage.”

What’s Obama’s Record on Gun Control?
So far, however, the only legislation the president has signed since he took office in 2008 has expanded gun laws, allowing loaded guns in national parks and unloaded weapons stored in luggage on Amtrak trains.

Yes of course it was intentional ... is that why you only identified your intentional ridicule regarding the word smart but left out your misuse of the word shore?

I bet that explanation works well with the mental midgets you probably surround yourself with.

Obama was being misleading when he denied that his handwriting had been on a document endorsing a state ban on the sale and possession of handguns in Illinois. Obama responded,“No, my writing wasn’t on that particular questionnaire. As I said, I have never favored an all-out ban on handguns.”

Actually, Obama’s writing was on the 1996 document, which was filed when Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. A Chicago nonprofit, Independent Voters of Illinois, had this question, and Obama took hard line:

35. Do you support state legislation to:
a. ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns? Yes.
b. ban assault weapons? Yes.
c. mandatory waiting periods and background checks? Yes.

Obama’s campaign said,“Sen. Obama didn’t fill out these state Senate questionnaires--a staffer did--and there are several answers that didn’t reflect his views then or now. He may have jotted some notes on the front page of the questionnaire, but some answers didn’t reflect his views.”

"It declared that when the constitutional rights of Vermont were invaded it was the duty of Massachusetts and all other States to rally to the support of Vermont in sustaining her constitutional rights. "That State was then wrong. She was not only wrong but she was felo de se, as will yet be proved in the future. In this terrible war of ours, when the standard of rebellion was raised, when States like Maryland and Delaware and Kentucky stood upon their constitutional rights, it was our duty and our right to defend them, even by force of arms against the aggressions of the President and the Congress of the United States. It was the right and it was tbe duty of every State of every friend of reserved State rights, of every friend of constitutional liberty, of every friend of popular government to rally to the support of Delaware and Maryland and Kentucky and every other State whose rights were invaded aud trampled upon by the usurping United States Government. Sir when Seymour was Governor of New York he was at the of an imperium in imperio. He might have called in the aid of hundreds of thousands of armed freemen to stand up for the maintenance of the rights of the people of his State in their government and in their persons against the aggressions of the United States. It his duty and it ought to have been the last act of his life, if he perished in the act, to stood in their defense."--Senator Lot M. Morrill, Feb. 1st, 1872,[The Congressional Globe, Volume 66, Part 1 By United States. Congress,(Page 766).]

"I should like to an amendment to this bill to the effect that quantity of arms say $1,000,000 worth or so should be given to these Indians...."

"...Now, I speak with the utmost in this matter. I know the value of an Indian's life. I know how sacred it has been with us, and how careful we have been to supply them with all arms of the best quality. I know that we have sought to give them Remington rifles and improved breech-loaders, and all the best guns we have invented, in order that we might the satisfaction of having a good square with them."--Rep. Nonsense - there was no anti-gun legislation in the works prior to Newtown. There was no "pattern."
Newtown, more or less painted Obama into a corner, he had to do something...even if he knew it was doomed to failure.
If anything, gun rights have been expanded under Obama by way of the castle doctrine, stand your ground...etc.
Nonsense you say? The pattern established by the gun-grabbers goes back many years on both the federal and the local level. The firearms act of 1968 was supposed to be "THE" answer. How many times have the gun-grabbers been back since then? Just because you don't see the pattern doesn't mean there isn't one.

BTW, I think your fight with Tommy Hearns was the most exciting 3 rounds of boxing in modern times. The judges couldn't take that one from ya!

I said "gun rights have expanded during Obama's administration."
That is undeniably true.
Simply repeating yourself does not in any way lend veracity to your claim. Specifically, what gun rights have been "expanded" during Mr. Obama's tenure?

BTW, I was surprised when Roberto "Hands Of Stone" Duran, as an old man, almost whipped your butt. Pulled that one out in the last few rounds, didn't ya?

Yep, the right pitches a fit every time the President exercises his Constitutional authority.

That doesn't change that until Newtown, Obama's only action on guns was to EXPAND gun rights.

When the Congress refuses to act on the will of the people, the President will. That's what we elected him to do - the will of the people.

That doesn't change that before Newtown the President's only action on guns was to expand gun rights.
