IF the Muslim Brotherhood is not currently seeking political power, it's likely they are focused on cracking open nine year old girls like their pervert prophet, but they're more likely interested in their sisters, who after they rape them, they'll hang for losing their virginity.

ME politics is live under iron foot. If foot relaxes a little, then the people demand another, stinkier foot.

Places like that need America, way more then America needs them & after America implements its budget cuts (starting with the corrupt UN) the world will see what it is not to have western support.

England’s gradual & inevitable failure started when they sold out to the devil & turned their back on Israel.

Hello TopixFriends,

Latest reports are that the pro-democracy protests are growing in size. More and more social segments are getting involved.

Happily, Egypt is on the way to civil rights and democracy in spite of the USA's tens of billions of dollars of support for the thuggish Mubarak dictatorship.

Just imagine if the USA had supported democracy over the last three decades, instead of Mubarak's vicious dictatorship. There could have been a strong democracy in Egypt today.

Egyptians are entitled to constitutional democracy, rule of law, civil and human rights, basic freedoms and an egalitarian, secular society --just like everybody else.

It's too bad that for three dacades, the USA has supported an illegal and criminal regime that has thwarted and subverted Egyptians' rights --all in the false name of so-called "stability in the Middle East."

Oh well. it's never too late to begin showing integrity and standing up for democratic values, rights and principles.

The "primary goal" of the USA should be supporting the spread of true democracy in Egypt and anywhere else.

That is the true path to real peace and stability.

US supported Egypt, so as to keep a check on all the support they are giving Israel.
It was not that they supported Munbarak, because amendments to Egyptian constitution were presented by US diplomats, but these were thrown out by the cabinet of Egypt.
So you cant blame America for these events

The American Communist Party, the American Socialist Party, the Egyptian Communists and Socialists, the Socialist media in the US are of like mind with the anti-Jew and anti-American idiocy periodically seen in the Egyptian streets now. Reports about Muslim Brotherhood activity in Egypt are cleaned before airing in America, so they don't report on the two Christian families with children slaughtered and the five Christians on a train slaughtered by operatives of the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas terror seeking to dominate Egyptian and Middle East politic.

Every renewed "energy" appearing in the societal breakdown in Egypt appears to be directly in response to direct orders from the very crazy Iranian Muslim leadership, which very specifically finds Egypt important in reestablishing an Islamic Caliphate and bringing doom to the world to usher in their imaginary "Mahdi." So, we have extremists in Iran and Communists in America wanting a change that is designed to carry out the Muslim Brotherhood promise of preparing for war with Israel.

There will never be a democracy in Egypt.

The Muslim Brotherhood is run by Sharia Law A violent Islamic society.

Main purpose is to gain TOTAL control in the Middle East and attack Israel.

Then we have WW3

Hamas Islamic terrorists and Muslim Brothers of Ahmadinajad realized that they have to deceive the civilized world and the American people and lie about their true efforts to take over Egypt government power with the support of the Iranian regime of Ahmadinajad.
The fake African Imam Obama as the 'Big Muslim Brother' told his Muslim Brothers in Egypt to keep 'low profile' because of the major concern o the American people and US allies in the Middle East that Egypt will fall under the Iranian fanatic Jihadist regime that aims at taking over the entire Middle East and its oil fields with nuke threats.
Clearly, Obama’s ‘zigzag’ policy towards his allies in the Middle East and his support of immediate transition of power to 'nobody' proves that the fake Muslim and pro-Iranian Imam Obama follows a Hamas-Hezbollah-Muslim Brotherhood agenda.
Obama's brutal incitement against the Kings, presidents and Sheiks of the Middle East that used to be us allies as he seek new Middle East under the Iranian nuke superpower proved that nobody in the Middle East can trust Obama except the Iranian regime who rush for the nukes that will be used by his 13 Islamic terrorist organizations to terrorize the entire Middle East. Jordan King Abdullah and Saudi Arabia King Abdullah felt betrayed by Obama that denies within few days their loyalty to American interests during decades and calling them evil dictators that must be thrown out of their ruling power.
Obama was wrong to assume that Mubarak will surrender to his demand to transfer the ruling power to the unknown mob in the streets of Cairo and Ismaelia regardless who they are and regardless if they are disguised Muslim Brotherhood terrorists of Hamas under Iranian regime’s financing.
The anger of US allies in the Middle East that felt betrayed by Imam Obama who proved his support of the Iranian Jihadist regime that seek the destruction of the Jewish state led to rapid isolation of US in the Middle East that left Obama regime with the Islamic terrorist organizations of Ahmadinajad and Qatar.

Hello Topix Friends,

One of the cruellest ironies of the current situation is the USA's phony concern that the transition should proceed in a "lawful" way – as if Egypt had the rule of law until now.

Are we already forgetting that, for many long years, thanks to the USA's support of the criminal Mubarak dictatorship, Egypt was in a permanent state of emergency?

Ruthless Mubarak suspended the rule of law, keeping the entire country in a state of political paralysis.

Mubarak was only able to stay in power by murdering numerous opponents to his regime. Will we find mass graves filled with psychopathic Mubarak's victims in the desert?

Isn't it hypocritical for the USA, which used violent revolution and war to gain democracy and freedom from despotism, to obsess about "orderly transition."

Have some USA politicians, so used to catering and pandering to rich lobbyists who finance their political campaigns, completely forgotten what America's basic principles and values are...or were?

As for murderous Mubarak, if he won't resign, then he should be taken out feet first, the way Rumanians took out another psychopath, Nicolai Ceausescu.

Do chime in....
