Utah is the most conservative State in America, but when it comes to illegal immigration, believe me, a huge sector observes the disaster being a sanctuary has caused. There are more gangs, more murders, more laws being broken here than ever before. There is only one solution, comprehensive deportation. And ASAP.

I cannot believe some people actually believe Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the solution to our immigration problem. This concept has failed to gain enough political support every time it has come up. Amnesty has never worked since more keep coming. The problem has always been enforcement. Until the enforcement is in place, all other suggested solutions are meaningless regardless of what solutions you support.

Issuing more work permits when our unemployment rate is above 7% is sheer insanity.

CIR-- first step towards a NAU, just like in europe, your immigration laws are all voided. GB has this issue right now, and only now are they finding out they are powerless to stop it because the ruling body has set the rules.

You may be right, but I don't think we are that stupid.

its not us being that stupid. A NAU will be talked and hyped as much as the second coming. It will be presented as a "saving grace". First the US has to go belly up, thats not that far off. It would take a few more years and few other "diasters", but i have no doubt its in the works.

They tried that with NAFTA and it went over so bad, they had to change its name and burry it under a cloak of secrecy. Last I heard the military logistics under a different name were ongoing. With what is happening in the EU, if the NAU ever came before the public again, it could not be sold even as the second coming. (My opinion of course).

"If the issue of illegal immigration is to be solved, our representatives have to make compromises for a plan to make legal immigration easier."

So, the take home message is to follow the immigration process as recommended by illegal aliens...NOT!

Question: Why should ANY country's immigration process be compromised to make it easier? Countries, to protect the welfare of their citizens, have the RIGHT to control their populations if they are to become prosperous. Prosperity attracts those who don't have it...and those who want to get it without working and sacrificing in their own backyards!!!

Yes, and all of the poor countries are going to the wealthy ones instead of creating wealth in them home countries. It will never change as long as they are allowed to leave and go squat and take advantage of other's prosperity.

It's interesting that our country makes these agreements, obligating Americans, and we know nothing about them. A good case in point is the recent UN monitoring of America's voting!!! We are expressing outrage at the UN doing this, but they are puzzled because they have been doing it since 2000 or 2002!!!!
This crap had been going on, and no one bothered to tell us! When we found out, boy are we pissed! Who knows what else awaits us?

a plan to make legal immigration easier? i think it all needs to stop until alot of citizens are back to work and then make those who say they need them to prove it where there is very little room for fraud.

as it stands we are just about rubber stamping folks who are coming. we need a true full background on every single person who wants to come here,if that take longer so be it.

i am sure those who liked the idea of the 9-11 attacks will see it different.

also we need to stop all deals with those to our south,we have done more for them than anyone else so let them take care of their own for a long while.getting out of nafta would be better for all.

I also think it's becoming a National Health crisis as well. We have periodic outbreaks of rubella and polio in Utah. I've long wondered why we offer asylum to Somali's and and other 4th world populations without doing health screening's first. Not to mention Mexicans coming who have babies and SMALL KIDS that have never been vaccinated. Why is it we understand these problems, but our Government is mute on it? Nut's

I've been working in construction (electrician) for over 15 years. My boss needs my skills. With all the construction work available in the northeast we might be sending a crew to help rebuild the homes destroyed in the New Jersey area.

Why would I be enemy #1 ? I work everyday and support myself. With the exception of a few months I have lived in the U. S. all my life.
