First you stop educating people then you can tell them anything. It is unfortunate that the bad guys can force someone to withdraw their nomination based on allegations. There are people in America today that believe they can vacate an election, because they want to. They will lie, and cheat, and cover up, because they can. There is only one way to stop them. Vote. Vote them out. Send their people home.

“Whether or not there’s merit to these allegations, we should find if there’s merit to these allegations, and if there are, then the proper oversight should be done,” Ryan, a Republican, told reporters.

If you know the allegations against you are factual, you withdraw. He does and he did.

Background checks are done for all types of corporate jobs before you are hired. Why should a position like heading up the VA be any different? Personally, I think the VA is a very important organization and should be run with the highest of integrity, for our solders...

I believe Jackson made the decision to withdraw. Don't you wonder what his reason is?

Even if physician Ronny Jackson did all those alcoholic and / or abusive things as claimed he still could have filled a staggered term at the VA....

That is not any political reality in the US, and you are a partisan moron troll, as opposed to any sort of thinking liberal or left winger. There are lots of cases where false or unproven or irrelevant allegations can overwhelm a nominee for any post.

Yes, if you are guilty and know that it can be proven, you will dodge a hearing and claim that you will be "overwhelmed" by the "allegations" in the "witchhunt" and so will not defend your (nonexistent) innocence.

It is a good tactic for someone who is guilty of what they are accused of and know it can be proven in court or a hearing.

That claim does not address what I posted, but even it is untrue. For example, there is little doubt in my mind that Clarence Thomas made inappropriate, sexualized comments to subordinates in the workplace, but he went right through his process.

The point I was making, moron troll, is that contrary to your bs, simple, unfounded allegations can and do overwhelm nominees. All the time. Your equation of allegation versus fact often has little to do with anything as far as these sorts of confirmations go.

As the president's physician, Jackson might mis-diagnose a serious condition. In view of this, do you think he should remain Trump's physician?

DOCTOR: I'm afraid you've got cancer.
PATIENT: I'd like a second opinion.
DOCTOR: Okay, you're ugly too.

PATIENT: Doctor, it hurts when I do this.
DOCTOR: Don't do that.

If you had a realistic hope of being exonerated, you would come clean and answer those charges directly, of course.

Anyone with a brain knew that Jackson was completely unqualified. Trumps specialty? Putting unqualified, inexperienced people in his cabinet. Trump wants our whole country demolished. He wants the huge VA, run by idiots. Why? Because he is a fcking cheap skate who wants to pay no taxes. And he was so gleeful when he could tell his rich friends that he cut their taxes by.more than half. So now a lot of poor children will have to do without Healthcare. A lot of our wounded soldiers will have to do without their care. And normal children will have to do without an even halfway decent school, because Betsy Duvoss(sp)?) hates public school and does not want middle class kids to be educated. Some of you will say I am lying but unfortunately I am telling the truth. If you cared, you would look up some of the disgusting speeches she has given.

No. This man withdrew, because it would cost thousands of dollars, that military people do not have, to defend himself. It isn't worth it. You cannot defend yourself against people who will lie under oath just to get their way. Democrats are people driven insane by the loss of an election to a non politician, and they will lie about him, and anyone connected to him.

A guy goes to the emergency room to get his hand stitched up after cutting his hand. Patient: Doctor will I be able to play violin after this? Doctor: Sure after it heals I see no problem. Patient: That's great I always wanted to play violin. You have only yourself to blame Larry.
