Good point, but did you know George Bush in the 2007 Farm Bill, it was George Bush who authorized the massive expansion of the SNAP Program (Food Stamps)?

Obama in the Stimulus Bill extended funding for 10 Million more.... and the chief recipients of Food Stamps are Working Poor in America, given there are currently 5 Million citizens collecting unemployment insurance, and 4.3 Million receiving Cash Grants from Temporary Aid to Needy Families(welfare) of the 47 Million currently receiving Food Stamps in America.

You do know the Farm Bill is only authorized in Congress every 5 to 7 years, right and, the current President has not yet in his 4 years been presented a Farm Bill from Congress.

You did know that, right?

That's not as stunning as Sarah Palin being on the GOP Ticket with John Insane receiving 50 Million Votes in 2008.

Why hate pensions? Pensions are part of the employee's compensation.

If you're worth anything to an employer he's going to sufficiently compensate you for your contributions to the employer's bottom line.

Those individuals who aren't really an asset to their employer and considered easy to replace generally aren't compensated with a pension.

Why do republicans hate pensions? 401K plans were designed only to supplement defined benefit pension plans. If you have been on your job 20 years or more chances are you have a defined pension plan where the employer takes a portion of your wages and sends those wages to an investment firm. You will also have a 401K plan that also takes a portion of your wages and your employer matches in some form also for your benefit to supplement you retirement income.

The 401K was supposed to work in conjunction with your pension, not a "substitute" for a defined pension plan.

"In Illinois, where highway maintenance workers earn up to $148,000 a year with overtime, early enhanced retirement can pay a $75,000-a-year pension at age 50 after 25 years on the job. That adds up to $2.2 million if the retiree lives to age 80 — or $1.2 million more than if the person had been in the state's regular retirement plan. A 25-year Florida crime lab analyst can get a $60,000 pension at age 50 and collect $1.8 million by age 80, compared with $575,000 if the person was not in the state's "special-risk class.""

This is utter rambling being your feeling are crushed and hurt. You know as most of America did that Sarah Palin should not have been within 5000 Feet of the White House unless she was on a window cleaning detail.

The Chinese were planning their take over at the mention of Palin becoming president, the world was laughing at the though, One of the reasons the Financial Sector of the world has loss confidence in America is 50 Million Americans voted for Palin.

They may not be stupid, but very much misinformed. Some of them are whining because their hopes have crashed and burned after 4 years of preparing to defeat President Obama.

A lot of the stories conservative supporters use today are made up as part of their Jihad against America. They are still trying to get some mileage out of Fast and Furious and Benghazi hoping against reason and logical thinking there was some conspiracy and cover up.

It'll take a while before they come to grips with their ideas, philosophy and politics have been thoroughly rejected in America.

Yes, I'm aware of the government buying votes. Beware a government official bearing gifts...regardless of party. Please point out my support of this program by the Bush administration.

You're aware of these, right?

"USDA uses Spanish soap operas to push food stamps among non-citizens, citizens"

"USDA combats ‘mountain pride,’ self-reliance to boost food stamp rolls"
