Fox News Poll Finds Disapproval Of GOP Skyrocketing After They Shut Down Government
Bad News is everywhere for the Republican Party. Even the Fox News poll has found disapproval of the Republican Party jumping to 59% in their latest poll.
According to the Fox News poll, disapproval of the Republican Party has jumped from 46% in September of 2012 to 59% today. Disapproval of the GOP has climbed from 54% in January to 56% in April to nearing 60% today. Approval of the Republican Party has fallen from 45% to 35%...
...Support for repealing the ACA has dropped from 39% in June to 30% today. This could mean that the linking of funding the government to defunding or delaying the ACA has completely backfired on the Republican Party. The number of Americans who think that they will be better off under Obamacare has risen by 7 points from 34% to 41%, and by a margin of 36%-19% respondents thought that Ted Cruz’s fake filibuster hurt efforts to repeal the ACA...
http://www.politicususa.com/2013/10/03/fox-ne...
Let's run those numbers again...
59% have a negative view of the republican party (up 13 points from 46% just last month)
Support for repealing the ACA has fallen 9 points, while the number of Americans who think they will be better off under Obamacare has risen 7 points.
Americans blame Boehner and the republicans for the government shutdown by a 10 point margin.
...and all of this is coming from a FOX NEWS poll.
Just kind of brings a smile to your face doesn't it?
ooops...small correction. I said "from just last month", when I meant to say "from just last year".

That means that (according to Fox News) disapproval of the republican party stands at just about 60% right now.

Now, if I was as paranoid as you seem to be, I might look at the old POS thread that DP started and wonder if it wasn't some kind of plan to get certain people to stop posting on this thread right from the start.
...or DP's recent transformation could actually be a liberal plot to convince you he's on your side now.
Which do you think is most likely POS?

Hey WA.
Considering some of the posts that were made the last time I was there I'll probably post there every once in a while just because I don't like the idea of people trying to run me off, but if I want any real conversation I'm going to have to look somewhere else.
That thread is infested with the most idiotic, unintelligent, dishonest trolls to ever sit down in front of a keyboard.
http://www.topix.com/forum/news/immigration/T...

Face it Jaxxon. You are not interested in civil conversation. You couldn't stay away from this thread for more than an hour or two. One minute you are crying on our shoulders about how mean the right wing posters are to you and the next minute you are right back over here begging for more.

You are just like that girl who jumped off the cement factory. Complain about the "bullies" in school until her mama moved her to another school but the girl couldn't stand not being bullied around so she stalked her bullies to social media and begged for more punishment. They probably ignored her so she leaped to her death. Of course it's always the bullies fault isn't it Jaxxon?

"Which do you think is most likely?"
I am not concerned with which is most likely. I am just seeing what is. What is, is this thread is staying at the top of the forum board as more and more citizens are coming to the conclusion that our president has failed the office of the presidency and there isn't a thing that you libs have said to date that refutes the fact. All of your so called polls reflects that fact as well.
As far as DP goes, I consider him as being much more honest than you even if he is just playing games. At this point I think he is being quite sincere though.
People do change their political persuasion as they become more informed. That is fact.
I did and that is why I didn't vote for Obama for a second term.

Nice move, mock a 12 year old girl that killed herself just because you can't make things work for yourself here on topix.

Face it DP, whether it's this persona, or any of the others you use, you're nothing more than an "also ran" and that just eats you up.

You tried to shut this thread down, you failed and now you're back playing the role of lapdog to the people you once opposed.

Between that and the fact that we've finally seen the real you, I couldn't be more satisfied with the situation.

Just grabbed this Post article, and I realize it's not current, but it does simply address the eligibility issue. MSNBC was reporting that Cruz is definitely interested in testing the definition of 'natural born citizen'.
Tea Party has different rules for Tea Party.
;)
what's your authority for stating that the TP, or ANY PARTY, has either endorsed or nominated Cruz?

or, are you just making omments to appear 'smart' or simply one of the Progressive herd?

Q: which storyline do YOU support: the TP is done or the TP is in control of the Rep Party?

on the Progressive-leaning media, I've heard BOTH... as the situation demands.

from the Progressive pols(Reid, Obama, McCain, etc...), the SAME.

from the Progressive Topix posters, the SAME.

funny, ain't it?:)

After you told me about that one poster, I went over and tried to sift through the posts to see what you were talking about and ended up getting baited into posting a reply which generated about two pages of right wing rants which makes me feel unpopular compared to the four to six pages of replies one of your posts generates or the six to eight pages of replies that one of Roses posts generates.

I wonder what I'm doing wrong...:)

LOL...I don't think that was what he was asking.
You do sometimes have a tendency to wonder off into positronium like gibberish, but for those posters that may not know, why don't you go ahead and tell us what a GPC is.
He was bragging about owning three homes in high dollar neighborhoods. He also claims to be a federal government employee. A GPC is a Government Purchase Card. It's a Visa issued to government employees so they can purchase stuff off the local economy.

One low ranking civilian employee in D.C. decided to use her GPC for some of the finer things in life. She plotted a scheme to purchase toner cartridges from a college acquaintance except all she did was pay for cartridges but never actually got any cartridges. Instead she got a cash money kickback from her friend. The way she got caught was by driving her Bentley to work one day then driving her Jag the next. She had a high dollar car for each day of the week. When she showed up in her Tesla, a supervisor got suspicious and followed her to her three million dollar estate. Wondering how a GS5 employee could afford such luxuries, her supervisor started looking into her GPC expenditures and discovered the discrepancy. The took away her fancy cars, the house on the point and her GPC but they didn't put her in jail. She claimed it was the governments fault for giving her the credit card, her supervisors fault for not stopping her from stealing and societies fault for dangling all those goodies in front of her.

Of course her co-conspirator got to keep her ill gotten gains.

It doesn't mean a damn thing. Where in there did they say the parties of those whom they polled. If they polled dems, it would be a 100% disapproval rating. Junk science and fear mongering at its best.
Those polls have no bearing on those who would change parties either. And who is to say that those who change parties won't go with a third party.
Nothing but bogus crap regardless of the news source whether Fox or Others.
Nothing but a rally cry from the dems, libs and commies and of course the occupy crowd and the gimme gimme people.
Suck up that kool aid Jax. You dems are going down. You can bet on it. You are out of touch with the common man and his private thoughts on the whole mess to know what he really thinks or what buttons he will push because you are on topix like I all day except your computer is not set up in a public place where this thread is exposed for all to see and to write comments before I post them.

I was hardly bragging. Relaying the facts always troubles you. Why is that?

I realize that he only believes what Fox spoon feeds him but not all foreign service officers sit at desks and stamp visas. GPCs are sometimes issued to people who do.

It is hardly surprising that his ability to read is in doubt. Long ago, I was asked where I live and vote. I noted that it was a complicated question. The response asked me where I owned a house. I told him the three states. He asked how that was possible given government salaries. He was told that some of us earn far more than he believes is warranted and a fortunate few married very well. I am among that group. Life is good. We don't need to purchase homes on government issued credit cards. I choose to enjoy life rather than whine about how much more the other guy has and why my guy isn't in charge. LOL!
