I have posted on a post before that I am part American Indian. I have most of the traits of American Indian. My mom had the facial features of the earlier Indians (crude with large nose and black eyes). I don't have the large nose. My Uncle, last name Basil, belong to the Chippewa tribe. His tongue was Ojibwe....he speaks the tongue. He was part French and his family hail from Canada and Kansas. My dad is from Norway, his family legally immigrated ....he is dead from the wounds serving in the U.S. army.
This is why I support our veterans and the American Indian.
So, what are you talking about? I stand and support the American Indians as I have previously posted.
Have you ever been on a reservation? Have you seen some of their plights? Most poor Indians are demean by their own people. A few Indians who own several casinos out west but do you actually think the poor indians profit from them----NO.
Why would I say, that the A.I. is the least American who goes around and protest and whine when they have the most valid reasons to do so?
Sorry for the long post but this irks me.
*Proud* to be a fellow poster to you *A.I.*... R!:)

As I was driving down the street today, I saw a young fellow struggling to walk down the street holding up his pants a little above hiss knees. At that point I figured out WHY. He is keeping his monkey tail from getting hung up in the pants leg.

Investigation of Texas Giant accident to be led by Six Flags
http://www.dallasnews.com/news/metro/20130720...
“In all likelihood do you think Six Flags is going to come out and say ‘we screwed up,’” he said.“Probably not.”

He said the lack of governmental oversight may mean the factors contributing to the woman’s death remain unknown.

Those determining the cause will likely be Six Flags staff, its insurance company, an inspector hired by the park or insurance company, and the German firm that manufactured the cars. With a lawsuit against Six Flags likely, it’s not certain how much information will be made public soon.

In a written statement, a Six Flags spokeswoman said that it was too early to comment in detail on the cause.

Exactly. They also think they can call other people racial slurs and its okay or accuse people of being racist because they do not agree with them. In fact they are clueless as to how many people see where the core of the problem is. They think one has to be of color to understand.

Well it was not the colored people who developed the melting pot United States that filled up with multiethnic citizens known as Americans.

In general. I think.
Unfortunately there are a small percentage of blacks that are successful given the number of blacks in this country. Someone posted the numbers according to the census bureau.

Many who did make it came from poor and broken homes. So there really is no excuse for the others not to advance.

The Great Gatsby Curve: Inequality and the End of Upward Mobility in America
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/2013/07/t...
Was Jay Gatsby, the ambitious hero in F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, a crook who would stop at nothing to get ahead, or the victim of a crooked game, a system in which the rules are rigged against those with anything other than blue blood, regardless of their ambition? "The Great Gatsby" is certainly open to multiple interpretations, but that is precisely what makes a novel great: characters and plot that not only challenge our deeply held beliefs, but also invite a different perspective depending upon the times we live in.

Fitzgerald's novel has long captured the American imagination because it speaks so directly to the belief that anyone with talent, energy and ambition can succeed regardless of their starting point in life. It has all the more resonance now because inequality has soared in the last three decades.

How Intellectual Property Reinforces Inequality
http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/07/...
In the war against inequality, we’ve become so used to bad news that we’re almost taken aback when something positive happens. And with the Supreme Court having affirmed that wealthy people and corporations have a constitutional right to buy American elections, who would have expected it to bring good news? But a decision in the term that just ended gave ordinary Americans something that is more precious than money alone — the right to live.
