NTRPRNR1 wrote: <quoted text>He's got an opinion. Unfortunately, polls show that the public doesn't share his opinion: Sequestration poll: Republicans to be blamed most By KEVIN ROBILLARD | 2/21/13 Nearly half of Americans would blame Republicans if $1.2 trillion in spending cuts go into effect on March 1, according to a poll released Wednesday. Only 31 percent would blame President Barack Obama, according to the Pew Research Center/USA Today poll, while 49 percent would blame the congressional GOP. Eleven percent would blame both. Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2013/02/sequest... Then, this: The Morning Plum: Americans will blame GOP for sequester Posted by Greg Sargent on February 20, 2013 http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line... Indeed, majorities of the American people take a dim view of the Congressional GOP’s policy priorities. A recent Post poll found that 55 percent of Americans — including 55 percent of independents and 64 percent of moderates — have an unfavorable view of the policies Congressional Republicans will pursue over the next four years. This is not a political atmosphere in which Republicans can count on escaping blame if and when Washington shenanigans damage the economy. Obama just decisively won an election that turned heavily on public perceptions of which party is really on the side of working Americans, and which is really on the side of the wealthy. Polls have shown majorities see Republicans as the uncompromising party in Washington. So the public is likely to be inclined to blame them — at least in part — for the continued standoff, without paying close attention to the details. Put simply, Republicans have more to lose politically than the reelected Obama does.(cont.) Link to the Poll: http://www.washingtonpost.com/page/2010-2019/... Senator Baucus' statement is not an opinion. Obama helped create it in 2011 and then threatened to veto any actions to get rid of it. ---------- “I will veto any effort to get rid of those automatic spending cuts,” said Obama from the White House’s briefing room, adding “the only way to get rid of those cuts is to get Congress to come together and work on a deal.” http://www.forbes.com/sites/afontevecchia/201... ---------- I do not doubt the public polls. My personal opinion is the public polls are largely due to the liberal media.

Food for thought: "We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions" Barack Obama Oh wait, that is not right. It was- Adolf Hitler (Speech of May 1, 1927. Quoted by Toland, 1976, p. 306) Now I don't know whether to call him a nazi or a socialist.

Our society today reflects this idea of white superiority. For more immediate examples of this, just take a look at some on the comments on this forum. Now, minorities, with the help of the government, are trying to level the playing field. Whites are trying to save their rigged game by insisting on merit, but what good is merit when the game has been rigged for 200 years? Merit should be the standard, but only after the field is in fact made level for everyone. Since the 50`s this Country has gone beyong their means to make things equal. And things were pretty copasetic. Untill Obama! Obama has inflamed every scare tactic in hies power to make it completely outreagous. One of the problems with Blacks is they have been equalized. But they kept on complaining and still do. 10 Years ago there was equal opertunity for Blacks. The problem with Illegal Hispanic`s is that they have tryed to pick up on the Black inequality theam. In that they claim Racisim. When in fact they come here illegally, then claim they are discriminated against. When if fact they are here Illegally. No one discriminated against them. Americans just do not want to absorb the burden of paying for them and their Anchor Babies. Oh, but we are heartless Right?? America had a good Social security plan. Now we are supposed to pay for Illegals with it. Thanks to our wonderful Law makers stealing that from us! To pay for wars and other Bad decisions made by our wonderful Law makers. 911 Was a good example of statements made by Comunists whaen they said (We will get to you from within)!!

Since when is American a race? "Full-blooded American" is an inaccurate term to begin with. It's straight out of a John Wayne western. Go figure. http://www.topix.com/forum/us/politics/TR4NO3...
