Glad to see that another one is off the streets and away from the kids

"Congress proposed spending at below 2010 levels. " Really? Where are our governments priorities. Safety of our children should be a top focus. Without our children, the future does not exist.

I think that what he did certainly merits prison time, but the fact that he got more time that George Huguely did for killing his girlfriend doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Our spending priorities are DOD contracts that serve no purpose than to enrich congress and contractors, you really think we fight so called terrorism for real? Our mere presence in the middle east does nothing but to create more hate.

Allow vigilante justice to be served in cases such as these and I guarantee that these types of crimes will begin to drop in number.

If/when he's convicted, instead of footing the bill for incarceration and failed rehabilitation, just turn him over to the citizens. Or, put him with the general population in prison. It will be almost guaranteed that he won't offend again.

Huguely's crime, as horrendous as it was, was a crime fueled by alcohol and passion. This crime is premeditated, perverse, and plain evil. Fair sentence.

Amazing. He would have gotten less time for murder. What a system!

It is a very bad what he did but murder to me is more series.

Former Intelligence Analyst?

Our country is in sad shape.

But anyhow, molesting a child and distributing child porn warranted a higher sentence than the Huguely murder because this case was prosecuted in Louisa County. Louisa County is getting a pretty bad reputation for going overboard lately.

The problem is not that this guy got too great a sentence, it is that Huguely got too little.

<quoted text>The children are innocent victims. Huguely's victim was far from innocent. She was dishonest and promiscuous, engaged in "hook ups" while he thought she was his girl friend, even screwed his team mate while lying about the status of her relationship with Huguely, she was a chronic drunkard, and while her behavior does not justify his crime, her behavior was far from innocent. I suspect she was only interested in his money, anyhow.
Oh just blame the victim right? Your post might as well stem from jealousy that you didn't get piece.

I don't think it's a bad rap for Louisa County to be known as a "tough on crime" county. 30 years would be too much if he took a bicycle from a kid, but this scum took way more...death penalty would be better, but I'll take 30. Way to go Rusty! Keep murderers, pedophiles and other trash off the streets and in jail as long as possible, and if possible, death row.

And a big thanks to the investigators for getting Rusty the proof he needed!

Go ask the Tea Party. They want to cut spending, reduce revenue. That means less money for things like this. They also want government out of our lives. So who is going to handle these investigations? Churches? Voucher programs? Maybe we should just rely on ourselves. Call your elected representative.

But she was blonde, blue-eyed and from a nice, well-to-do family. How could you write something so scurrilous?
