No surprise at all to see the angry children in the GOP House take an action which won't stand, which is completely partisan and ideological, and which shows their contempt for science, for reason, and for the American people.

We have to eject as many of these children as possible in the next 2 elections. The House is dominated by nut cases.

Electing people is obviously no guarantee of intelligence or ability, as the House's decision shows. Of course there ARE very bad appointed people in government, too..

President Obama has a 45% approval rating.

Congress has an 18% approval rating.

With decisions like this, their approval
rating will continue to decline
whilst President Obama's will stay where
it's been or go up like is has for the
last 5 years.

You do realize it costs far, far more to clean up polluted sites than it costs to prevent them, don't you?

proof positive that the current iteration of the GOP has not one clue as to what the word conservative means...

The only reason these House republicans are doing this is their main monetary sponsors are pushing this agenda. What good does this do the public? Everyone already forgot what happened recently in Texas, with lax regulations, and the explosion at the fertilizer plant that killed over 20 people?

Idiot, the people on these forums are.

This action will give Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a chance to say this shows how the Republicans hate children, women and blacks.

Actually it just show the GOPasaurs hate ALL Americans, which is why they want to go back to the days of massive pollution, companies dumping toxic waste into our waters, chocking the air with smog, etc.

Oh yeah, clean air/water/land is the enemy of the GOP and their big business financiers.

Considering what the fracking industry has done to your state, I would think you would want more investment in EPA regulations. How many towns need to be decimated in PA. before you see the light? Fracking in your state already destroyed the Delaware Water Gap as well.

Use your head. Before you come crying for cleanup help from the feds for problems that could have been avoided.

I would suggest we take everyone from the cities and move them to the great outdoors. Millions of people enjoying nature all at one time. If you think there are environmental problems now...

And just where do you think The Democrat Party gets it's money from? Mr and Mrs Broke Azz?

Fracking will do until we get all those great alternative energy jobs then we can sell solar panels to each other.
