That's a dumb question. I live in my hometown. If I move to a different town tomorrow, then that town would be my hometown. How can you live in a town and not live in your hometown? Now if you mean, "How far do you live from the town you were born in?" That a different story. And maybe the question should read "How fer do you live from the town you grew up in?" But then, the question would be asked, "From what age to what age?" So as you can see, my response is pretty stupid. JUST LIKE THIS POLL!

Turn these polls back over to the local editors instead of locking the polls for dumb stuff like this! There's PLENTY of room here for this..YOU can just go away.......

I was born in Detroit, MI (2 blocks off Woodward Avenue), raised in a village 200 miles north (STILL smaller than Mayberry, NC when Andy was sheriff) and have been in South FL since January, 1954 when this USED to be a nice place to live. My sons and I can't wait to move out of this wretched place. It's become a bloody nightmare down here in spite of the weather. Don't know where we'll relocate, but it'll be east of the Mississippi River. ANYPLACE that isn't in or near a city will be great for us. We'll look for another 'Mayberry' and live just outside. We don't want any neighbors: Just beautiful woods, a couple streams nearby with deer and other 4-legged critters. Utopia!

If I had it my way I'd live somewhere on the Nautical Mile with my little 20 footer for the summers and a pair of skates for the winter...CA, you have been good to me and so have your woman....but man i miss the Snores!!

I've lived in a little town in the bootheel of missouri all my life......I love it!!!! I like being able to go in a store and everyone calling me by my first name and asking about my children. I love being around the same people I went to kindergarden with and played little league ball with. You can't get any of that in a big city where no one knows you.
