Oct 1, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Athens Banner-Herald

President Barack Obama and his House Republican adversaries feuded over how to best create jobs in the weakened U.S. economy Saturday, with Obama demanding Congress pass his $447 billion jobs bill and the GOP countering with a call for less government red tape.

Barry Hussein is the Dr. Murray of job creation. He uses money like Murray used Propofol.

I got a jobs bill.
Take $447 Billion, divide that by the number of TAXPAYERS.
Then start sending out checks.
The TAXPAYER could do whatever, pay bills, buy a car, buy a house, open a business etc.
In other words create DEMAND for products and services, which would create jobs.
This "trickle down", give to the top of the economic chain isn't working.

No doubt the country would be in much better shape had Obama done that with the first idiotic stimulus, instead of using MY money to pay back his supporters for winning him the White House, and, instead of using MY money in bailing out the mortgage companies, the banks and the car companies.

btw, "Trickle down" economics has to be used for it to work. It isn't being used, what's being used is "crony capitalism", and THAT only works in Chicago.

It's never worked. It's all what Reagan had planned give to the top of the economic chain and it's supposed to "trickle down" to the rest of us. Call it "crony capitalism", stimulus, Obamanomics whatever. It has consistently failed in EVERY circumstance since it's inception.

Obama did cut taxes for the vast majority of Americans as part of the stimulus.

You're right about that. The Republican devotion to this failed economic theory is almost cult-like.

Bill Clinton thinks he deserves more credit for reforming welfare and balancing the budget.

“I go crazy every time I read the conventional wisdom,” he said Friday night at his presidential library in Little Rock, Ark.“So part of the Republican narrative is that I was ‘saved’ from myself by the election of the Republican Congress [in 1994] that ‘forced me’ to do welfare reform and ‘made the balanced budget possible.’”

ROFLMAO

The only thing clinton gets credit for is the complete lack of ethics and morals in America ever since he told the world it's OK to lie.

Trickle down cannot work because it's an obamanation, dolt. President GW Bush did send stimulus checks to taxpayers and to those who did not pay taxes but were included if they filed, do I hear a round of applause for President GW Bush?
Yes all the money obama wasted should have been returned to taxpayers after all, it's their money. Too bad they’ll never see a dime of it especially when the tax hungry obama is eyeballing everyone’s net worth. Like I said,“It’s an obamanation.”

Attention Just Plain Stupid!!! Every time you receive a paycheck that's money tricking down to you and you spend it and trickles down to others, etc. However with no jobs, no paycheck there's no trickle so what do you expect to happen in an obamanation?

Who gives a crap what you call it.
It didn't work then, it's not working now.
Reaganomics. 32 years of failure.
Bush's stimulus checks? Were taxed the next year.
Tax cuts and stimulus only work when there is a republican enacting them.

Yepper, b.utt h.ole obama finds a crowd of fools to listen to him talk out his know-it-all butt about jobs for an hour or so then he tosses it all to Republicans. If obama was such an economic genius like he pretends to be then what the hell does he need Republicans for especially after nearly 3 years in office? Are we supposed to discount the fact that he has done nothing since his election in 2008? I believe obama is banking on forgetful people like some slacker who says he'll look for a job tomorrow when tomorrow was 3 years ago...It's an obamanation.

Attention Wall Street Whiner!!! You have a big problemo with Capitalism, just like obama. You're like an idiot standing around wondering why his car won't start because it's out of gas. No jobs, no incentive, no prosperity, no trickle down...It's an obamanation.

Against capitalism? I'm all for capitalism, it's what small business main street has to put up with everyday, I put up with it for 15 years.
NONE of Reaganomics ever did me or my competitors any good, there wasn't ever ANY "trickle down" because of ANY tax cut.
Reagan's capitalism consisted of tax cuts on borrowed money from China to give to his contributors, who promptly took the savings and started the exodus of companies moving overseas.
What did Reagan give them for doing that? Another TAX CUT.
Paul Volker and Alan Greenspan had more do with Reagan's "spurt" of the economy than ANY of Reagan's voodoo Reaganomics "trickle down" fiasco three card monty of HIS economy.

Barak gave back middle american families a total one time $13 and some odd cents as fulfilment of some election promise, and raised inflation, gas prices, removed real jobs, obamacare, threatens obamacare in exchange for the laughable $13. Not even enough for one child's school lunch for one day. We and the future children will pay interest on that useless electioneered $13 per household for years to come.
