I don't want our next President to be Hillary either but I do want someone whether yellow, brown, black or white, man or woman, who has the convictions, moral fortitude, and personal strength to lead the greatest nation in the world. I believe that "person" is Mike Huckabee. The bible says that God sets up kingdoms and tears down kingdoms. American's greatest need tonight is the Lord Jesus Christ and Mike Huckabee knows Him in a personal, saving relationship. Only God can set this country on solid footing again and bring world peace. If American would return to God and repent of our sins, God would heal our land, and restore our greatest. Mike Huckabee is the man of God for the hour and the job.......

I think racism is somewhat less than in the sixties. But I think white america would rather have a not-so-dark, Harvard educated black man as president than a white woman. Does anyone think sexism is dead? They aren't female, I bet.

I would hope that many of you post look deeper into the issue of what's happening. The people are starting to think for themselves and not allow interest groups, the media, or the ideological bullies decide who they vote for. The vote is not pro Obama but it is anti-staus quo. The rich have gotten richer and the middle class is in the final stages of life because the politicians (both parties) have catered strictly to the corporate dollars and the wealthiest citizens in American society which is ultimately squeezing the life out of everyday hard-working Americans. The best advice I can give is stop using Topix as a bitch session to complain about what you don't like, and use it to network and exchange ideas on how to give America back to the people. By the way, the truth be told, Dennis Kucinich speaks to the heart of mainstream America and his approaches are based in reality, not rhetoric. The posts are average, I would like to see them generate more thought provoking discussion in regards to the 2008 race and politics in America.

I agree. America is still too divided down racial lines, as ethereal as they may be to choose a man of colour for the White House as President. Equally, Americans don't put women high in the pecking order of things.

Suffice to say, neither will probably get up because of those reasons, leaving the running to John Edwards by default. Another default President. For once make a definitive decision. Even if it is a wrong one, at least it will show America can make up its collective mind.

When someone has there finger on the Nuclear button would you like them to equivocate? Will I, um, won't I, mmmmmm does it matter, who will be left to care. Ummmm, will those things only kill Republicans ummmmm are you sure? Hmmmm, what about those Neurtron bombs? Hmmmmmm. So they're not selective either. They leave buildings standing. Well that's not so bad. The only collatoral damage will be human. Good I've made up my mind.

No this does not proof Americans are color blind, it proves how feed up we are with status quo and want change. The problem is that Obama believes that hope will bring about change. He has not lived no enough to know that it takes a lot more than hope. Hope is only the starting point and it has to be immediately translated in to action. When you look for depth in what he is saying there is none. The same is true with all the candidates but Obama is shielded by his upbeat message and chrisma.

The only thing that Obama has proven is that the same mentality of people who voted for Bush are voting for him.

Vote for Obama = screw yourself. I don't care .. Let him be the one in office when the USA starts WW3 and is in a depression. Check the news ... check Obama's history ... But his supporters are to lazy to see they are voting for a dangerous con-artist who is leading the sheep.

Oprah calls her 42 acre ranch "The Promised Land" .. LMAO!. I guess if Obama wins he will appoint Oprah as his Secretary of State and Al Sharpton as Vice President.

Obama .. what a f*ckin joke.

The United States is deep in its worst housing slump since the Great Depression, and according to a new report, it's not going to get better any time soon.

The forecast is for a longer, deeper home-price slump than previously expected, with double-digit declines in many markets.
By Les Christie, CNNMoney.com staff writer

NEW YORK ( CNNMoney.com )-- The United States is deep in its worst housing slump since the Great Depression, and according to a new report, it's not going to get better any time soon.

In a new survey, Moody's Economy.com says many metro areas will record losses of 20 percent or more during the downturn, with the national median price for single-family homes dropping 13 percent through early 2009. Factoring in discount offers from sellers, the actual price decline would be well over 15 percent.

Eighty of the 381 metro areas covered by the report will record double-digit losses, according to the report. Most of the worst-hit markets are in once high-flying areas, such as California and Florida.

The samekind of fools that voted for Bush will vote for Obama. Obama is tied to corruption in Illinois. Obama's close friend who led Obama's State Senate campaign in Illinois is under federal indictment for political bribes .... Obama's names is part of the on-going investigation. If no one believes me, go do your homework. Its posted on illinois news websites.

And that church of Obamas ... I went over it's website with a fine tooth comb. The church is a racist church and the Christian Boardcasting Networks alleged the samething in much kinder words. Again, if no one believes this .. go look for yourselves.

Obama = bad news. And this is just a small part of what I have found digging into Obamas record. You should see how he's been voting since in the US Senate and when he was in Illinois. The guy is fooked up in the gray matter. But he is also a snake in a suit - a con artist that is duping many.

Color shouldn't be the issue in 2008. We have more serious things to worry about, like the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, our unsecured borders, the illegal invasion, and a corporate run Congress. I will not vote for anyone who will support these. Unfortunately, Obama supports them.

No, America is not colorblind and neither is Obama. On the one hand he wants and expects the Black vote but on the other hand pretends that he is White. I don't plan to vote for him so it's not an issue with me. I am concerned about the name "Obama" and what that implies though. Obama is a muslim name and that scares me to death! I don't want him for President of the USA.

Obama is no different from Clinton, Edwards, or any of the others running for president. People are voting for Obama the man, and not Obama the politician.

And let's be honest, Obama is going to get votes simply because he is black. Many whites are going to vote for Obama to try and shed off some of that "white guilt", and send a message to the black community that "See, look! Whites aren't so bad after all!"

Voting for someone just because of his skin color is dangerously irresponsible.
