Well then these wizards of smart can continue paying over 5 dollars a gallon for gas and the rest of the country can continue ignoring them. California should be kicked out of the Union.

Then California should not benefit from any other offshore drilling around the U.S.

the best thing about California is that they are a long way away from here. We should stop supplying them with electricity and oil. I bet power plants will start popping up and oil rigs all over the place and the whale lovers and tree huggers that run the state will once and for all be scuttled.

California has the world's 5th largest economy. If Mississippi is smart, they won't get into a spat withholding goods and services from California. Not to mention a house divided against itself cannot stand...

They have to get their damn water from out of state. DUMMY...the house has been divided for a very long time, you just haven't realized it. You probably didn't realize that terrorist of 911 and their ilk were at war against us long before 9-11.

I guess the economy and job prospects are just sooooo god in Cali, that they do not need the extra tax revenue and jobs this would bring. I hope they do not show up asking for a bailout.

They should go milk a tree if they want gas.

Here you are developing less dependency of fossil fuels that destroy the environment and our economy, relieving the pressure on our oceans, and also creating AMRICAN jobs and lessening our dependency on our number two import (after oil), seafood. We have the technology to farm offshore fish without over polluting the oceans. Alternative energy is for tree huggers. There will NEVER be enough alternative energy supplied that takes the place of oil for transportation purposes. Minnesota has raped the farmers' land with a bunch of very expensive propellers. A field of those wind power machines don't supply enough electricity for 100 homes.

Put a wind machine and a solar panel on your car and see how far you get before you have to go back and plug it into wall to get a shot of power to make your car go down the road. Wake up and smell the coffee. And put real sugar in it.

I can see why they rejected offshore drilling. The have enough oil walking around to supply Califorina for a thousand years. All they have to do is wring it out of the hides of the greasy mexicans.

We can always count on California doing wierd stuff. It is all about the movie stars, the environment, and the queers. It should be given back to Mexico but they would not want it.

Let me see if I got this straight. They reject offshore oil drilling, yet bitch about the electrical brownouts and blackouts. Makes sense to me.

Except they are waging a cultural war, not another Spanish-American war nor an 1812 war.
