California panel rejects new offshore oil drilling

A state panel rejected a proposal Thursday that could have led to the first new oil drilling project off the California coast in 40 years.

California has the world's 5th largest economy.

If Mississippi is smart, they won't get into a spat withholding goods and services from California.

Not to mention a house divided against itself cannot stand...

By the way, California is a consumer state. They require resources from other states more than any other. They have to get their damn water from out of state. We got enuf oil and if the price goes up and we are still forced to nead the nads of the arab its tuff shyt.

We got our own oil but the bigshots say leave it alone.
