Republicans have become the Inhumane Society and contrary to their opinion of women, we are paying attention, we know what they are up to and we VOTE in very large numbers. They have made their bed and now they can lie in it.
A 20 week old fetus/baby has a fully formed body, all fingers and tiny toes, working internal organs, hair, and movements which may include sucking their thumb, smiling and hiccuping. Mothers can feel the 12 inch baby moving at around 16 weeks gestation.

What you're advocating is to KILL this baby by tearing it's body apart with sharp instruments or injecting it with poison and allowing it to die slowly while it's skin burns off from the chemical poison. THIS is an abortion! It's not painless, or fast for the baby.

How can your heart be so cold as to think this is acceptable in a civil society?

And you have the nerve to call Republicans inhumane?

The only humanity the rapepublicans can muster is towards the contents in a womb. They discard the woman/girl from the moment of conception. This argument is mute sense RvW draws clear lines and is the rule of law. The goal of these nut cases is to outlaw abortion and contraceptives ENTIRELY, even to save the life of the mother. Perhaps you should ask them where their humanity is pertaining to women/girls? Perhaps you should ask them about their male hierarchy religious beliefs?

As far as I'M concerned, anti-choice Republicans ARE inhumane, because they all dismiss the WOMAN as being nothing more than a mindless baby producer. Whether she's "supposed to be" a baby producer for the church or the state is a matter of debate between religion and state.

The conservative Republicans REALLY don't like it that a woman can choose to REJECT motherhood, either by using contraception to prevent pregnancy, or by using abortion to terminate it. So in retaliation, they've pushed through draconian legislation that seeks to DENY women access to both. By denying as many women as they can access to either contraception or abortion, these rapepublicans (thanks, Morgana!:)) are doing their very best to impose a compulsory pregnancy agenda on all women in the United States. Or at least, the women unlucky enough to live in THEIR states.

Democrats have men like Weiner, and Spitzer lurking around, and they want to talk about war on women. Really? When Republican men act like repulsive animals we vote them out, or run them out. Democrats surround their perverts, sing Kumbaya, and try to elect them to office.

Yes I've heard these tired old talking points one too many times, and I can assure you that they're not true. I personally have many close friends who have a home full of foster children and adopted children. I have dear friends who work tirelessly at the woman's center in my home town, providing clothing, diapers, cribs, etc to young mothers who are having a hard time. I could go on and on...

But all of the people I know care very deeply about the plight of women AND babies, before and after they're born. And we're smart enough to think fir ourselves, therefore we would never vote democratic.

I absolutely do not think abortion should be used as a form of birth control, you're right about that!

I think women are being preyed upon by an industry that doesn't care about their mental or physical well-being. Just look at the horrible conditions that have been exposed at so many clinics in this country in just the past year!!! Just read the numerous stories about women being coerced into abortions, without the proper information to make an educated "choice". Advances in science have totally negated the old, "it's just a blob of cells", lie. Sadly, abortion is a profitable procedure, and women are paying the price!

It's time to start educating women that abortion is not a simple answer to an unplanned pregnancy. Many women suffer long-term emotional and physical reactions to abortion. Its time to start being honest with women about the horrors of exactly what abortion does to their unborn baby.

Exactly!!
Democrats have a long line of sexual predators who prey on young and vulnerable young women. Yet they're not usually held accountable in any way. I was horrified to hear the praise and hero-worship heaped on Teddy Kennedy at his funeral. He left a young woman in a lake to DIE, and yet he's a hero to the left? Typical democratic hypocrisy!

Again, the difference is Republican women will toss their sleaze bags in the next election,
democrat women hang onto the slime balls, and hope for the best. They encircle their sleazy men, and protect them hoping they can hang onto their political positions. Pathetic. Look at Huma.

You totally danced around the main points of my argument "The goal of these nut cases is to outlaw abortion and contraceptives ENTIRELY, even to save the life of the mother. Perhaps you should ask them where their humanity is pertaining to women/girls? Perhaps you should ask them about their male hierarchy religious beliefs?"

The anti choice crowd views women as brood mare subservient twits. They care not about the plight of women as they wish to eliminate choice and reduce them to incubators regardless of the circumstances including rape and the mothers health/life.

Now dance some more.

Give me one instance of any elected official saying they want to outlaw contraceptives? It's never happened!!

Please stop believing anything the liberal talking heads feed you and start thinking for yourself!

The pro-life movement, which is actually supported by a majority of Americans, is based on human rights. Human rights for the most innocent of all human beings, those without a voice. And at least 50% of those murdered babies ARE FEMALE!! How can you pretend to support women, and condone the slaying of thousands of unborn baby girls?

Save the right wing religious party line sweety, it is old and worn.

Turning women/girls into brood mares according to male hierarchy religious beliefs is suppose to be great for the lives of women? Denying them authority and choice over their OWN body is better handled by male politicians and male clergy?? You bow to the phallus. How can you pretend to support women/girls??????????

Please give me just ONE example of Sarah Palin telling people they are "less than"? I don't think I've ever heard that? And like I said, Sarah Palin and her family are not perfect, they struggle with the same issues that many Americans face. She works very hard as a professional and Mother to 5 children, a strong, independent woman, worthy of role model status.
Oh PLEASE. You can defend Caribou Barbie all you want. To ME, she's a phony, a hypocrite, and totally pathetic. I consider it a VERY good thing that she helped John McCain LOSE the election in 2008. She has shown the entire country how UNeducated she really is, how ignorant she is, and would have been an absolute DISASTER as Vice President of the United States.

As far as I'M concerned, Sarah Palin is a regressive religionist, who would set women's rights back two centuries if she had HER way. She is NOT a feminist; more like a sellout.

Oh yeah, I forgot about tricky Ricky, as he was forced to drop out of the race much earlier. He was another one who thought it was perfectly okay to impose HIS idiotic relgious beliefs on all women in the United States. I definitely celebrated when HE was forced to drop out.:-)

We DO think for ourselves, Missy. That's why we DON'T listen to right-wing nonsense from regressive idiots like Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, and Sarah Palin, and why many of us are very thankful that they LOST their races, big time.

How will you feel when the pictures from Gosnell, and those other 3 clinics where they found evidence of post birth abortion,(fully developed babies murdered as soon as they were born) change their minds about abortion? If women have the choice of aborting their unborn child, and they always will, what is wrong with having the procedure done in hospitals? You have the statics of how many abortions have been done, but you have no idea how many women have died in the process. No civilized country can have these clinics without oversight, and continue to pretend they are civilized.

There is oversight already in place. How about we just insist it be enforced, rather than make new laws that will also be ignored, and STILL won't keep women safe?

Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock and Sarah Palin don't constitute my idea of a brain trust, but I don't recall any of them proposing a ban on contraceptives.
