Palin: McCain's biggest mistake was sheltering me from press

Dec 22, 2008 | Posted by: Top Ex Ed | Full story: www.huffingtonpost.com

Sarah Palin frequently disparaged the political press when campaigning with John McCain. But she tells Human Events' John Gizzi in an interview that she wishes she had spent more time talking to the media:

The biggest mistake made was that I could have called more shots on this: the opportunities that were not seized to speak to more Americans via media. I was not allowed to do very many interviews, and the interviews that I did were not necessarily those I would have chosen.

You were right, when you refer to me as a “true believer”.
I don’t vote for anyone who supports abortion (murder of the unborn---murder of the innocent).
I don’t vote for anyone who supports homosexually and same-sex marriage.
I don’t vote for anyone who wants to take from the people who have worked hard and accomplished a good living for their family, and give it to the lazy bunch that refuses to work.
I don’t vote anyone who has NO executive experience (less than 4 years in the senate doesn’t make one eligible to lead this nation.
I don’t vote for anyone who accuses of me and my law-abiding fellow Americans and working class of “being bitter and clinging to our guns and religion”.
I don’t vote for anyone who disowns their own mother just because she is of a different color.
I don’t vote for anyone who, quote,”divorces”, their pastor of 20 years.
I don’t vote for anyone who claims they can’t remember what their pastor preached, although they were in the church for 20 years.
I don’t vote for anyone who all their life has run around with questionable buddies/friends.
Again, you are right when you referred to me as a “true believer”.

London person, love all your illusions to the last laugh because it reminds me that Palling around Palin was the laughing stock of the last election, the laughing stock of the last repugrat go-around and made our country the laughing stock of the world. And no, it did not take Tina Fey to "achieve" all those laughing stocks!

It is true that we, Obama supporters, and the world are expecting alot from our new President but the only suicides will be our country which has been so badly damaged during the last administration.

There will be a collective belly laugh of joy if our country improves - though I don't have the same hope for those naysayers and divisive "citizens" who want to belly laugh our country into the ground.

I don't know nemesis. Just as I don't know why a Christian, supposedly raised to embody the teachings of Jesus Christ, is full of so much hate, so much judgementalism, so much wrath, so much intolerance, and fails so utterly to live a life full of love, hope, faith, charity, and compassion. One of life's largest ironies, I guess.
