Obama will oppose this, because he doesn't want the world to see the howitzers and stuff he's given the "rebels", that have been used to deliver poison gas. Somebody might take his peace prize away.

They will only surrender what they can't sell.

What about the people, ceasefire get everyone out who isn't a Syrian citizen, get the medics in close all the borders, protect the people, get rid of all the weapons, get a new leader with the main goal of rebuilding Syria in PEACE, respect for all the people and the land. Get rid of all human right abusers. List everyone missing or ..... and give them all a real burial, begin the healing!!!! AS far as the so called leaders of the so called UN and any other leader involved in not helping the innocent Syrian people jail them too for being an accessory to slaughter and breaching human rights. As far as the chemicals go, where did they come from, won't they have more, what about the people still killing? Get everyone out who isn't Syrian citizen to start with, photograph everyone leaving identify them as they leave, then we can see who really is there taking over the Syrians land and life. Let them fight in their own country or go back to whoever sent them country and play their game there. CEASEFIRE!!!!!!!!!! GET MEDICINE IN, FOOD, WATER, WARMTH, SHELTER. Move into Assads house, move them OUT!!!!!!!

But cee without Assad there is no Army, without a Army there is only anarchy.
If Assad were voted out the army would be intact , it would hold together . Because Assad would support the new incumbent regime.
And the soldiers would still trust each other.
If an outside force pushed him out , that outside force becomes his replacement.
Loyalty is lost, anarchy will be all that there is.
Because that outside force has no following that transcends ethnic divisions and working arrangements.
People would vote for a National Army
if Assad got removed, but that wouldn't create one.
For example the only reason the Army stayed intact in Egypt is because Mubarak was a puppet , and didn't lead the Egyptian Armed Forces ever.
Gadaffi did and couldn't be replaced by corrupt French Prostitutes and Brotherhood leeches.
Yemen Sallie didn't end up on death row and the old was blended with the new.
If Assad got Shafted.
Soldiers would enlist , but not to fight , its not like running a chicken farm.
You know , Lebanon isn't falling , the Brotherhood are dying, Israel is shitten bricks, come on cee what more could you want.
There will be elections next year.
Assad might not even run.
Geneva could even organize a referendum this year .
Give peace a chance.
