What actually happened is that the voters of North Carolina put the political peccadilos of liberal judges outside the reach of the Constitution of the State of North Carolina.

Well done, Tarheels!!!
The voice of the voters will be heard, or else.
Just ask Dick Lugar of Indiana, supposed lifetime Republican US Senator who got primaried out of his seat by an actual conservative.
The TEA Party is far from over.
Except for Chapel Hills, I love North Carolina!
Well done!

Parade? Sex on the street? Wow! Sounds like a party. Everyone loves a party!!! Except for christians. They don't like anything or anyone, except a stupid book written centuries ago by a bunch of men. Oh, and lying through their teeth to get what they want.

The joining of two into one. Do you realize you can have a marriage of color and canvas to have a painting, or a marriage of music and words to make a song? I don't see how gay people that love each other and wanting to marry is changing the meaning of the word marriage. Can you be more specific?

Totally agree.
In the mid 1990s I used to be somewhat ambivalent towards the demands made by homosexuals for special rights and favors, using their Democrat party, then the homosexuals can use the force of government to strip away freedoms because that's what rich Democrat politicians do.
Over the years I've come to see how hateful, intolerant, and anti-American the vast majority of homosexuals are.
Somehow, their hate for normalcy, civilization and the American way isn't to be criticized, but let a normal person criticize a Democrat-homosexual-pedophile, and all hell will break loose.

We are now at almost 30 states that have done the same thing
You will soon long for a civil union

Note to gay and lesbian North Carolinians:

Six out of ten of your neighbors have made it clear that you are not as good as them. 6 out of 10 of your neighbors have now made it a matter of your state's bedrock law that you are not deemed good enough to ever, ever have any type of relationship recognition whatsoever. No marriage. No domestic partnerships. No civil unions. Ever, ever.

Are you sure you want to continue residing in such a place?

That's what makes NC a bible and red state. No one disputes that, although the vote was sort of close given the environs.

Nice to see an xstain fundie admit there was cheating in the vote by the xstain fundies.

Oh, give it a rest! So those two on the cruise ship were completely out of line. Let it GO. I admit it was in horrible taste, but was it really the end of your world the way you seem to be acting?

Did you actually SEE them? How many did? Thousands? Hundreds? Maybe three or four? They got arrested, they paid a big fine and were humiliated in public. What do you want? Executions? Let it GO.

So, you are going to let the antics of two drunken slobs color your vision of the entire gay community? That's like basing your entire view of straight men on Ted Bundy.
