don't reward them or their parents. we all know if you give to the kid you will be rewarding the parents as well. all this does is show these parents what they did was right and they have no punishment for being so good at their crimes.

this will also show the world we reward criminal behavior and only enforce laws against our own citizens.

It's very likely none of these illegals will have to pay for anything. I live here and I have a son that attends Community College. They get free tuition and or grant's. There is few that pay anything. They get Pells. The aid intended Legal Americans. Which They are. But the Parent's should be held responsible. The parent's when identified, should have to pay back taxes, fines, etc. , if they don't comply deportation. The also get work related positions at all University's. IE Job's... They do not pay tuition period.

something else kept out of this thing, not all or even most illegal aliens are going to go to school. i would like to see some % of illegal aliens who are not students,i am sure there are more thugs than students and those thugs will never be mentioned in these things. they can take a look for themselves all over l.a. and see for themselves.

You forgot the part about we become the freebie country, attracting others from all over the world...bring your kids, we'll take care of them? Oh, yeah, I forgot, this is already happening!

Ever notice how it is always the hispanic "kids". You NEVER(!) see Asians doing this, and they are the most successful, and readily assimilate!

Bingo! The best and brightest are few and far between!!!! What we are dealing with primarily, are people who don't even graduate high school. We are talking about generations of peasants who don't valuse education. It is more important to work and help raise the unending number of kids they produce. Remember, they boast, "...the fastest rising minority..." Boy, are they going to be disappointed when the dollar collapses and there is no more welfare!

Pell Grants is a federal program, for only US citizens!!! If you really know of an illegal alien receiving funds, it's because of fraud!!!

As long as those young immigrants committed no crime by lying on official paper, using stolen ids, forged birth certificates and would let them stay and play the rules just like everyone else.

But the whole problem with education in particular that is if a so called immigrant gets a reduced in state tution rate how can they say on official paper work/the college application that they are a "resident" of that state. They have no right to answer that question yes on an application. That is fraud and misrepresentation if they do. They are an illegal immigrant or alien, through no fault of their own but they ARE here ILLEGALLY. They are NOT a LEGAL resident. Like it or not their whole life is predicated on a LIE. Any benefits gained by just 'being here' is fruit of the poisonous tree so to speak.

Confess to crime the of being here under false pretenses and by fraudulent means and I might allow the 'young' aliens to live here, obtain legal citizenship and exercise the rights and responsibilities afforded to a legal United States citizen.

God you're easy! How about if you have NEVER benefitted from welfare, and can show you can support yourself for at least 10 years without any social sevices!!! We don't need poor people!!!! That's what foreign aid is for! Also, I think that we should tax remittances at the going rate! They are sending $ earned here, and we want it spent here as well...they can't have it both ways!!!

Most illegals have been working the system for so long, they honestly are experts at it. It doesn't bother them one bit to use false Document's to apply for Federal Aid , section 8 housing, and on and on. They do not care about assimilation what-so-ever... just leech leech leech. Use every program out there designated for US citizens alone. The tax payers in this country really should know about this.

Well my husband was deported back to mexico and I am a U.S. citizen and I want to know what will they tell all these children about sending their parents back to mexico and riping families apart. I am not saying it's OK to cross illegally but for those not committing serious crimes should have to pay a fine at least for the ones who are already here or have immediate family. I cross the border every weekend to see my husband and my six year old son who has decided to stay with him and my nine year old has Cornelia due Lange syndrome and needs a lot of medical attention and that is why I can't go back there to live. But it is so hard to see how it affects the children and how my six year old asks me why we can't be together as he cries this just doesn't punish illegal immigrants but there family's who are here as well.

So what you are saying is, you child with health care needs, probably paid for by the legal taxpayer , keeps you here instead of with you illegal alien husband? You knew what you were doing when you married him. This is out of Control. Go to Mexihell with him. You chose this route. Now enjoy payment. Plus we've probably payed thousands for your anchors. Go be with him.

Your family is the typical illegal alien family. The taxes he paid do not compare with the millions of illegals draining the US, our Hospitals, welfare for illegal aliens children, and on and on. It's not plausible to keep taking care of the third world poor. We simply can't afford you and your flock.
