"The national debate about gun violence is often framed around the question of why anyone would need an assault rifle, or a 30-round magazine, to hunt a deer. But the gun fundamentalists, such as Farago and Kenik, scoff at the focus on hunting. The Second Amendment isn’t about hunting, they say. This is a matter of self-defense, and freedom from tyranny, and they don’t believe they have to justify their choice of firearm, or the number of rounds in their magazines. They think background checks on gun purchasers impede the right to own a gun.

“ ‘Shall not be infringed’ means shall not be infringed,” Farago says.

Kenik and Farago say, however, that they do not think the right to bear arms includes weapons that kill indiscriminately, such as bazookas.

“We’re not crazy people,” Farago says."

"“ ‘High capacity’ is a term created by the gun grabbers,” Kenik says.“Just like ‘assault weapons.’ ”

"“We call them ‘proponents of civilian disarmament,’ ” Farago says.

A couple of hours later, the two men dig into dinner at a swank Italian restaurant, both of them choosing chairs that let them face the entrance.

“Look at the way Robert and I are facing,” Kenik says.“Crime happens everywhere. There’s no place to feel safe.”
Nice propaganda rant.

Gloat about your propaganda filled vision all you want. Remember, that revolution is still a possibility.
I don't see you actively participating.
My guess is your a prepper who really can't wait for a revolution. Fine with me. Participating in what?

If you do in fact have knowledge of weappons you must realise that no gun expert shooting a bolt action rifle can not compare to a expert or amatuer using a semi-automatic with rounds fired in a elapsed time contest.

Your first paragraph where you are badly mistaken when considering my implying about Faux {sp} and the street thing, is in your new favorite word MOOT. ha. I hadn't even considered those points. But...
Apparently you are correct about the Bushmaster being used. That's what I get for listening to MSNBC.
My apologies.

As far as the AR vs a bolt action, it's irrelevant. I referred to successful use of the bolt action to show it is lethal as well. You miss the point. Ban the AR AND the Bolt Action. There will still be mass murders. There will actually be more mass murders.

You should really take a look at something. Look at the violent crime rate in Atlanta Ga. Now look at the violent crime rate in Kennesaw Ga. What's the difference? The two cities border each other. Why is the violent crime rate so much lower in Kennesaw? In fact, why is the murder rate there zero? When did the violent crime rate in Kennesaw drop so drastically?
Get back to me with what you find.

I have NO idea what they were thinking.

That's like taking your buddy, the mean drunk, to the bar.

<quoted text> How many people did the "sniper and his buddy" kill with guns and get a pat on the back and a medal? Hypocrite. How many people do police kill with guns? Why do politicians have (armed with guns) guards? Why do you feel SOME humans deserve protection with a gun but others don't? Some people lie so why should your dumb right to free speech be protected? Did you even think before opening your mouth? No one has to die for my right. Some people die by the misuse of a right by some. People who misuse a right are not protected. No where in the second amendment does it say "The people have a right to murder". We do have a right to self defense. A right means I don't need your or anyone else permission, protection, or opinion.
The 2nd Amendment says nothing about individual protection. I believe the word used in it is "militia". Nowhere do I see the word "commando".

No it says the RIGHT of the people not the right of a militia. Read all other writings by those who created it, they make it very clear "INDIVIDUAL". See the post you replied to here. You just can't help yourself can you?
The shooter suffers from PTSD and was actually being mentored/sponsored by the victims through a program to help people with PTSD. So try to twist it into anything you want. Once again mental health is the issue, not guns.
Perhaps a knife would have been just as effective.

If we go strictly by the Constitution most guns sold could be wiped off the market. Politicians allow these on the market for only one reason, to placate the unwashed masses, votes. The biggest argument for the gun cowboys is self defence, an idea not found in the 2nd. This whole deal has to do with men being neanderthals substituting a gun for for a sense of self which most men lack in this culture. So because your average male pig here has a neanderthal brain innocent children die for their right to be a dum arse. Innocent children and good people. How many more will die at your expense, how many more will die at the hands of your egos? You are in fact murdering innocent children to sooth your own feelings of inadequacy. The act of little minds. The latest stat means that 8 children will die because of you today. Do you care? no, its all about you.

Lmao! Start out with insults. That makes what you have to say seem credible. Lol.
So tell me why I should be responsible for giving part of my paycheck to finance someone sitting on their **** with their hand out. Explain exactly how me working to pay for that handout recipient's living is going to lead to them contributing to society.
Ok, so I'm selfish and you are clueless. Tell me, what is going to happen as time passes and we have fewer people working because 1. People are losing jobs and 2. Baby Boomers are retiring in record numbers, and will continue to do so for decades? Tell me what happens when government assistance rolls increase for the same reasons?
The fewer people that are working will be paying more of their income to the IRS.
Will I still be labeled selfish when I'm asked to pay 60% of my income to the IRS? 75%? 90%? When does my responsibility to takers end? Are you going to pay that much in taxes? Or will you convert to selfishness too?
I just finished digging out the big hole for my bunker. I'm gonna move my trailer into it and armer plate the walls. I already got me about forty thousand rounds, a bunch of gernades, night visions, 4 bazookas (1 for each direction), my home made flame thrower, body armer, my xbox, my collection of WWF videos, 22 cases of Bud, and a big bottle of hand lotion. Bring it on. I'm ready.

Go by what is written in the 2nd amendment. Take guns away from all, except the military. No guns for police, secret service, ATF, and citizens. Let the fun begin.

Then pay attention to your own affairs. Become a gun rights advocate in your own nation, which is among the strictest in the world. The last thing we need advice from is an activist who is a failure in their own nation. Failing is not a skill us US Americans are accustom to, we don't need you to teach us how.

Guns made America. From the Bunker Hill, Trail of Tears, to Baghdad. If it weren't for guns Americans could not enjoy consuming all this and other lands around the world have to offer. Here is to Mr. Winchester, Colt, and Ruger.
