Everyone seems to have such relevant comments on the topic, I thought I'd help. White women, children and men are being attacked daily across America in an onslaught of hate crimes by Blacks, literally hidden by the media. But, dumbasses in the media and here are concerned about some jerk Black man not knowing how to approach police officers, and in true form display an anti-authoritarian bias common to Leftist pansies.
So basically your comments only relevance is the fact that he's a black man?

Indiana generally is the most boring place on Earth, so people have to do weird to make it livable, especially Black males, since their 6% of the population genetic disposition to serial murder is seen in them being 50% of serial murderers (not to mention Africa.) That leaves about 44% of the population representing the other 50% of serial murderers, but that's not right either, because most of them are gay. Indiana bureaucracies have people measuring the distance between blades of grass. It's understandable some firefighter, when not setting fires to put out, would flip off some militarized, corn fed giants with not enough blood flow to their brains. Thanks Leftists, for giving lots of free money to communities to build police bunkers. Everyone in Indiana is like that... not enough blood flow to their brains.

He was stopped for running a stop sign. Not for hand gestures. Totally legal
Since when are they pulling over people on bicycles for running a stop sign? Shut up.
The police on this side of town are lazy and make me sick. They don't even respond to a call and when they do they are rude and half a- the job.
They speed up and down these roads and have a serious God complex.
They can be given the middle finger they out on their pants just like everyone else.

He CAN & WAS pulled over for not only running a stop sign, but he also almost got his ass hit because the police car had to swerve to avoid plowing into him!!! It WASN'T because of any gestures. And they most certainly do respond to runs- it's all documented ad recorded..... Go to the PD and ask for the info about any run: all the dates, times, when the officer arrived, etc is public record. YOU try dealing with the mostly ridiculous s$it they deal with on a daily basis & see if you could be happy, cheerful & polite while getting cussed at, yelled at, and called every name in the book by the same douchenugget that called 911 in the first place!

Read the incident report.

Says they pulled him over after he waved.

The first thing they asked when they got out of the car was "why are you waving at us"

They did not swerve to miss him. You made that up.

And finally I'll ask this again, do people get put in a ditch and cuffed for running a stop sign?? Believe what you want. They guy was a firefighter and obviously wasn't trying to be hostile towards police. He thought he knew them, and made the mistake of waving.

I'm not believing what I want, I'm believing what happened. I wouldn't be commenting or posting if I didn't know the true story. YOU can continue to believe what you want.

Right so answer this. Why would EPD investigate if that was the whole story? Why would a witness stop and take a picture of the incident if it was an ordinary stop? Why would they put a taser to his head for running a stop sign on a bike? Why would a firefighter/preacher be hostile towards police to the point they needed to put him on the ground an cuff him, again for a simple traffic violation?

Can you answer any of these?

And if you know the "true story" which is what you wrote and that's different than what's on the police report then who is lying?
I'll give you a hint-the police are the ones that write the report.

Or maybe he pulled in front of the cop and the cop almost hit him and he responded by giving them the finger. I seriously doubt it was a friendly wave.

And finally...

Why did they go to all this trouble with the taser and handcuffs, then not even write a ticket at all?? I mean that was the WHOLE reason they stopped him right?? Because you "know" what happened, surely you can tell me why they went thru all that and didn't write one ticket?????

Can you answer any of these?
1. Because ANY complaint is investigated.
2. I can't answer why someone would take a picture... Same reason people take pictures of people on scooters or random shopping carts-because they can.
3. We weren't there now, were we... to know if the Taser was actually on "his head". We also don't know what words came out of his mouth or what actions his body did that would have warranted a Taser being unholstered.
4. Because he's a jackass.

If he was such an upstanding firefighter/preacher, especially a youth minister, would it be mature and smart to post all of this info on his Facebook page? I think not. What a 'fine' example for the youth in his church.

Ok! I reread the article. I'm on Firefighters side. I personally know that cops can be dicks. I too was handcuffed so tight that my wrist were bruised all because I asked a cop his name.

It is HIS Facebook. He can post whatever he wants. ESPECIALLY if his account is the REAL account.

Big surprise the Merit Commission said the pigs did not violate any policy. Evansville is the most backwards place in the US. These cops are out of control and make me sick! Lazy pigs with BAD attitudes. They do what they want and face no repercussions been doing it for years. I remember when Zirkelbach got away with killing the black kid with a toy gun. SICK
