Democrats are compassionate and want everyone to have a chance, an opportunity, some help when they need it. ReTHUGlicans don't, and lie about it.

'what you fantasy is is that your idea are supported in the nation, and the reality is that your thinking and ideas are being thoroughly rejected. That's why you are opposed to who is sitting in the oval office.

it doesn't matter what you think about doing with public lands, your ideas have been rejected.... What do you not understand? Why are you in denial? That's how government operates. Elections have consequences. You don't seem to deal well with consequences associated with your failed theory and politics.

Now, on you privately owned lands, good luck with drilling and cutting down your tree for profits, we wish you well.

Nobody begrudges your pursuit for prosperity...... Drill and cut, Drill and Cut...... just respect the property line...

Eric, again you display your ignorance of things governmental. There are myriads of Federal, state, and local laws that prevent people from doing what they want with the real estate they own.
I enjoy timber, oil, and minerals that come from public lands, why are my rights to enjoyment supplanted by the rights of radical environmentalists who will likely never even SEE the land. I can guarantee to you that I've seem more "wilderness" than the average left wing environmentalist or Federal judge, yet they get to decide for me how public lands are utilized?
Beside, Eric, while you are still stuck on your version of "fairness", I'm talking about what's good for the nation as a whole. Blocking domestic development of energy, timber, forcing us to be dependent upon foreign sources, has proven to be bad for our nation. Continuing to do the same things over and over expecting a differing result is the proverbial "definition of stupidity". Don't be stupid, Eric.

On June 10, 1964, Democrats filibustered the Civil Rights Act.
Grand Old Partisan reported, via DANEgerus:

On this day in 1964, Everett Dirksen (R-IL), the Republican Leader in the U.S. Senate, condemned the Democrats’ 57-day filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Leading the Democrats in their opposition to civil rights for African-Americans was Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV). Byrd, who got into politics as a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan, spoke against the bill for fourteen straight hours. Democrats still call Robert Byrd “the conscience of the Senate.”

In his speech, Senator Dirksen called on the Democrats to end their filibuster and accept racial equality.

Yes, Democrats have done a good PR job by talking equality, and passing laws that appear to benefit certain segments of society based upon race.

But what they've done, in reality, is returned entire segments of our society to slavery. Only this time it's economic slavery, rather than physical slavery.

Truly free people are given a level playing field, and are allowed to rise or fall based upon their own merits, or lack thereof.

If we ever want a truly "colorblind" society, we need to remove every last vestige of law based upon race.

Right, because HELPING people means taking away everything the poor get and tossing them into the ring against privileged wealthy and middle-class folks many rungs above them on the ladder.

While actually providing them with job and economic assistance based on need somehow makes "slaves" of them.

This is the logic of the far Right, folks. And no, it's not an accident that it sounds like race-baiting.

Predictably, live-in-the-past Righties see the Democrats as Dixiecrats out of the early '60s voting against Civil Rights. It gives them another chance to hate on the late Senator Byrd, too, even though his bigoted notions of race changed gradually over time. And of course you WON'T see them mention that notorious Dixiecrat segregationist Strom Thurmond found a happy home in the GOP after leaving the Dems.

Just dishonesty, that's all you'll get from radical hatesite 'GatewayPundit' and its fans. Bleah!

I remember the fish kills from the 1970s and see the beachings now. It kills the recreation value of your land.
Meanwhile Cuba has leased drilling rights to China in the Florida Straits. Do you really believe the Chinese are overly concerned about an ecological disaster that would mainly affect the United States?

Democrats cast blacks as victims and the DNC as the savior. Meanwhile black unemployment is one of the worst for any group in the nation and the unemployment for black youth is over 20%. Over 70 percent of black children are born out of wedlock. Violent crime is horrendous in the black community and Democrats give it lip service before going home to their gated communities and private schools. Exactly what do blacks have to show for fifty years of being saved by the Democratic party other than being the majority in the ten most violent cities in the US?

So. Where were those Democrats...and why did they stay home?

Because Obama had lost his halo, perhaps?

The usual offtopic SludgeDrudge crapola from you, of course. You're incapable of much else.

Cite actual evidence Obama has been "racist" or "divisive," or apologize for your slander.

Hint: not building highways in the suburbs isn't "racist," asshat.
