I'm gathering from your posts that you have no moral objection to killing, per se, as long as a governmental entity allows it?
Am I correct?
My posts have not been about morality. We were discussing murder, which is a legal term for an illegal act.

LOL, why don't you go ahead and hold your breath waiting for that to happen.
I hate to tell you, but the country is pretty well evenly divided, even among young people. And, in fact, every young person I know is pro-choice.
Do YOU have links to any law which stated that "Killing Jews is legal"?
Those young people you know will age. Things change, even ideals as the world becomes more clear. Don't count on them supporting your cause forever. I know this for a fact, I used to think it was a matter of choice. Then I realized that it wasn't ONLY MY choice, it was a life. That is undeniable, it's a LIFE, and it's a child.

No, I'm not. It's a fact that you cannot refute my statement, and this attempt at being insulting by you is tacit admittance of that fact.

Please, do try. Tell us all how killing can be legal and illegal at the same time.

I'll wait...

Antisemitism and the persecution of Jews represented a central tenet of Nazi ideology. In their 25-point Party Program, published in 1920, Nazi party members publicly declared their intention to segregate Jews from "Aryan" society and to abrogate Jews' political, legal, and civil rights.

Nazi leaders began to make good on their pledge to persecute German Jews soon after their assumption of power. During the first six years of Hitler's dictatorship, from 1933 until the outbreak of war in 1939, Jews felt the effects of more than 400 decrees and regulations that restricted all aspects of their public and private lives. Many of those laws were national ones that had been issued by the German administration and affected all Jews. But state, regional, and municipal officials, on their own initiative, also promulgated a barrage of exclusionary decrees in their own communities. Thus, hundreds of individuals in all levels of government throughout the country were involved in the persecution of Jews as they conceived, discussed, drafted, adopted, enforced, and supported anti-Jewish legislation. No corner of Germany was left untouched. ushmm.org Nuremberg laws in wikipedia as well. Satisfied?

And there are many older people who used to be anti-choice who are not pro-choice. Again, the country is evenly divided, and always has been.

Those young people are not supporting "my" cause. They are supporting their own, and the civil rights of all citizens in this country. They will raise children of their own, you know.

Or are you one of those people who erroneously assume that PCers never have children?

So you don't think I'm playing a game here, I'll ask the question.
In Uganda, there are laws proposed there that would make homosexuality punishable by death.
Should this proposal pass into Ugandan law, and they carried out the punishment, it would certainly be "legal killing".
You would oppose this morally or fall back upon "it's legal"?
My opinion on the morality is irrelevant. Killing that is legal, is not murder. We're talking about proper word usage here, not opinions about right and wrong.

Murder is the term for illegal killing. You can't have killing that is both legal, and illegal at the same time. Therefore, there is no such thing as "legalized murder", which is where I came into this conversation, and is the point I've been addressing.

Since it says nothing about laws passed making it legal to kill them, of course not. No one is arguing that they didn't pass laws against them, that they were not persecuted, that they were not killed. I asked for a link to the law passed which said "Killing Jews is legal".

Try again.

You are thick, what do you think happened to the "laws" you need as confirming this? Good Lord. Germany was in ruins after WWII. What proof do you need? Rooting through the rubble to find the exact document that was the written law? Bloody Hell!

That "don't want one, don't have one" argument is good for teh middle school playground, but not too many other places.
Many opponents of a abortion view it as a moral evil, so saying something like "don't like slavery, then don't own one" fall flat.
That "don't want" one argument allows for freedom over ones medical/physical integrity.

The many opponents are not forced to partake. They can go about their merry way believing it to be evil, blasphemy, and anything else they like, but they cannot force a lack of medical/physical freedom upon the many females who do not share their misogynistic beliefs.

Speaking of the middle school playground argument equating abortion to slavery let me educate you on the definition of slavery.

slav·er·y
n. pl. slav·er·ies
1. The state of one bound in servitude as the property of a slaveholder or household.
2.
a. The practice of owning slaves.
b. A mode of production in which slaves constitute the principal work force.
3. The condition of being subject or addicted to a specified influence.
4. A condition of hard work and subjection: wage slavery.

Slaves physically through their labor benefitted their owners with no or very limited benefit to themselves. This is comparable to a woman/girl forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy with no personal benefit. Not to mention mandating her as a life support system against her will to the entire benefit of another.
