Cancel them all. Learn to do without credit. The only folks getting benefits from credit cards are the credit companies.

I have 2 cards, both with limits below 1000. Coming out of an 11,000 dollar debt, I only try to use what I have for emergencies. My life is not only virtually debt-free, its also stress-free.

Journalistic sensationalism brings us to the conclusion that politics has an overriding influence on the markets. Bull.

Look for these newly arrogant Democrats to borrow massively to stimulate an economy that is already ready to boom from "economic stimulation" checks sent to millions of Americans and $700 billion for banks. All of which is borrowed from our foreign adversaries. Which puts upward pressure on our dollar by coaxing them to buy dollars to lend to us, making our exporters poorer and chasing jobs to those foreign adversaries.

Nice to see a rise, but I won't bet on it lasting for long. As long as the " Drama King " is still in that office anything can happen. He still has 12 weeks to come up with more stunts. He will do everything he can to sabbatage the economy if Obama gets elected. He knows it will be impossible for Obama to get his programs started with any more crisis in the economy. Take my word for it, He's not done. He has panicked this nation & the world too many times already, he knows exactly how to do it again.

Spelling error aside, is it your contention that President Bush is intelligent enough to yank the economic chain? Your exact words were, "He will do everything he can to sabbatage the economy if Obama gets elected."

Most of the topix talkers consider Bush to be quite a flake. He's not as flaky as Gore and Kerry! Is he?

That's a GOOD thing. We want our jobs back here. We want SAFE food, drugs, and products. We want an end to slave labor and unrestricted pollution.

Market continues to plummet! Call Obama when you need him. Otherwise just make more money to hand over to the government.

The stock market tanked yesterday with the announcement that obama had won the election. The assault on American business and the taxes about to arrive for the middle class will wreck the economy for years to come. The first 6 years of Bush gave us the highest stock market in history and very low unemployment.
The Democratic majority in Congress during the last two years has ruined stocks, credit markets, and employment. Congress has spent the last two years putting America further in debt with one social program after another. The recent enhanced GI Bill is unaffordable.
2/3 of the American budget goes to entitlement programs and that will increase under obama. The unaffordable costs of Medicaid is a harbinger of the costs of national healthcare.

obama isn't going to give you a job.

You could volunteer for obama's call for national service to redistribute the wealth, do good deeds for ungrateful poor people in New Orleans, and provide a domestic Peace Corps.

obama does understand that America was built on the backs of CHEAP LABOR and now he wants Americans to work for NOTHING. If you buck the trend and continue to seek wealth and success, obama has a new tax plan for you.
