I guess it is ok for US to send weapons to defend our friends. Our friends are against their friends, and friends never leave friends behind. Not sure who is right, but it seems like a fair fight - foreign western-friendly forces against Iranian proxies on Syrian land. Plus Syrians are against Syrians in the mix.
