Of course, you dumb bastards would never have HAD any of those good things (just segregation, I guess) if it hadn't been for FDR, Democrats, high taxes on the rich, unions, and the biggest war in history! ROTFLMAO!!
Your first paragraph, you were doing well.

Then you descended into partisan revisionist bullshit. Typical.

Hint: FDR's actions PROLONGED the Great Depression, just as BHO is doing with the Great Recession.

How about a flat 15% personal income tax? Aren't the whiny bastards (Obama voters) getting enough in credits, handouts, bailouts, etc. etc. already?
No. Graduated income tax for individuals. We're not letting your rich billionaire friends off, even though they're secretly laughing at you behind your backs...:)

Well, in Romney's case, not so secretly after all. Encourage your folks to keep talking about those 47%ers, though! It'll win Dems the next election, too!

they will not accept a flat tax since it means their guys MAY have to pay even a little...
even if it means continuing these huge breaks to corporations they love to outrage about...
Of course "poor" means less than $200K in income.

How is requiring 15% of EVERYONE's total income exclude my millionaire and billionaire friends?

Your rich, leftist politicians are secretly laughing at you (D)voters behind your backs.

I'd favor cutting corporate taxes IF all corporations would pay what they owed. Too many in fact get huge REFUNDS based on shady accounting practicies, loopholes, and credits which their own lobbyists have engineered for them.
Let's have a flat 15% corporate rate - and make them PAY it.
Well, hell! Japan and the US have the highest corporate taxes on the planet. I guess they may as well close up shop and move to another country, taking their jobs with them. Then you can keep blaming Bush and Romney for exporting jobs.

Liberals and their circular logic. It's like watching a snake eat itself tail first.

I said "let them off," as in 'let them off easy,' not "exclude" them. Typical dishonest rightie, changing what you say in order to attack it. I believe that's called a strawman argument?:)

Flat taxes on individuals are inherently regressive, I'm not even going to argue that with you. Fifteen percent of a billionaire's worth is of course a lot more in dollars than 15% of mine, but it leaves me with a lot less money, comparitively, than it does him. That's why we have PROgressive taxation in America - the more you make the higher PERCENTAGE you pay. That's the only fair way of taxing people's income or total wealth.

You're not even a USEFUL idiot, sadly.

But your internet tough guy act was QUITE comical. Thanks for the chuckle, Chuckie!:)

It's not about taxes. It's about revenue.
Cut spending or spend more. That is the fight.
Eventually everything will have to be cut to the bone EXACTLY like Canada had to do to survive it's initial spending spree. It 's right there in front of everyone's face.
There is no argument about that. The deeper Obama digs us into a whole through spending, the more will have to be amputated at some point. It's already happening in places like Stockton California. There is no one left with any money to tax there. Same thing will be for the country. Then you are just like the miserable Soviet model.

So would a 75% rate, you envious doosh.
BTW, net worth isn't subject to a tax (at least not yet; we will need a 3rd (i.e., for life) Obama term for that one.)

Lefty, I'd be damn happy if we could just go back to the "Golden Age" when men had jobs and kids behaved. But that is progressively impossible now. You are the perfect example that ‘commies’ are obviously not in check. Sadly, your kind is definitely in control, lead on. Please don’t blame me for thinking you’re an idiot, my Dad was strict and my 3rd grade teacher was mean, so I get a pass.

Furthermore you voted for the bill ayers' understudy so wallow in the filth you brought upon yourself...ignorant azzhole.

Duh, the point is that progessive taxation is fairer. Only right-wingers seeking to shield their upper-class base would argue otherwise (or lie snottily about "enviousness"). Asking the rich person to pay the same DOLLAR AMOUNT in taxes as a lower-middle-class taxpayer would obviously be unfair; asking them to pay the same PERCENTAGE seems less unfair but really isn't.

Net worth should indeed be subject to tax, FWIW. Doosh.:)

Haha!

You both are arguing the exact same thing.

Hey Johnny/Prof:

It is called Fascism. The merger of corporate and government powers. Defined by Mr Fascist himself, Benito Mussolini. Also can be referred to as Corporatism.

And both Baby Boy Bush and Barry Soetoro are bought off by the same corporate interest. They call it campaign contributions, average people call it bribes and pay offs.
