This might be the best endorsement Christie could get for real conservatives.

CPAC, along with the current iteration of the GOP have no idea what the term conservative means, let alone what one looks or acts like.

Conservatives are just repackaged republicans who want to cut or eliminate the same domestic programs, as Ronald Reagan did 30 years ago.

Give massive quantities of tax money to corporations, get rid of any regulations regarding corporations, banks and Wall Street.

Privatize everything,increase defense spending, increase tax money going to religious organizations, Would rather give Israel their last dollar than help ANY American,repeal Roe v. Wade,etc,etc,etc.

The "conservatives" are just more nutty and stubborn about it.

Christie is a New Jersey elected rino/neo con. A conservative ran against him near four years ago in the primaries that was backed by many and preferred. Christie won and still realized that New Jersey has problems with taxes and reforms are/were needed. Jersey is a corrupted high tax state. It is a suburban area with ghetto cities. Perma slums, a gift from progressive utopian dreams. The problem was, when he was tested, he failed. Whatever was going to happen from the feds as financial help would have happened anyway without the licking of the chitt out of the President's azz. He could have handled it differently. The last time I checked we are going on five months and not much has been done since Sandy. I liked Christie because he sounded like an obnoxious progressive Democrat. Giving back the crap. But trust is hard to be earned. So many times you carry the water and get back stabbed by those you help. I have relatives in that region. But the taxes they were charged over the years should have been enough for total protection. The progressive plan you know. Well at least they were more civil then the animal actions of Katrina. This time...

Getting rid of the far right evangelicals would be the first step of a true conservative. by definition, a far right radical is not a member of a conservative party...

next, realize that being fiscally conservative looks at the ROI of many different ways of governance. there are many instnaces when we, as a society, can do things better and cheaper and with greater efficacy than a bunch of small, disparate groups.(this is why we scrapped the Articles and drafted the Constitution.)

Those would be the first two things the republican party would need to address before they can re-earn the moniker conservative.

Chris Christie has to do whatever he needs to do to stay in a leadership role in an extreme democrat state.

Obama = divide and conquer.

wise up!

Oh my and you never insult people Ms. Kettle. By the way, when you make outlandish claims that are not even close to mainstream, there is nothing to rebut.
